bunglebear, Yes exactly same problem, regardless of the amount filled. Noticed this Serpent does not have any "air escape slots" in the top of the tank, so when the top fill cap is screwed on, it pressurises the tank contents and then immediatly dumps about 1ml of juice straight out of the air slots, even with the juice flow control still closed ! Once it has equalised it vapes and performs pefectly, all the way untill empty. So now use conventional bottom fill, PITA as there really isn't much of a gap to fill. First new wick build does not do this, guess because the wick is not saturated and can absorb the additional juice forced into it. Think this is a silly design flaw by Wotofo, knew i should of waited for a version 2 !! Shame really, as this is a seriouse flavour tank, up there with my drippers. But still one of my favourite go to tanks, even with this problem. Now using a 3.5mm ID coil with muji scottish roll wick method, so plenty of cotton on the deck and the tip 1/4 way in the vertical juice slots, (but still dumps juice after fill). If you find a fix, would love to know.

-V-VT40 Silver arrived today. Belgium Airmail Registered. 21 x days from shipped notification. Not the quickest delivery time i've had, but certainly not the worst from china! Silver looks better than i expected, not as nice as the blue tho imo. Weight and solid build is as good as ever and the evolve chip does exactly what you would expect from one of the best chips on the market. One thing i didn't expect tho, was for the brass threads to get worse than previouse models. I was rather hopeing that H Cigar would of rectified this problem, but obviosely not. 510 & battery threads are really really cr*p on this one. Can't see them lasting to long. Hopefully someone out there, can work out if a 510 fitting can be retro fitted to this mod, as i can see an awful lot of VT40's not being able to be used in the near future. Shame really, as H Cigar have made an excellent mod, completely let down by stupid thread machining !! Oh well, i shall continue to enjoy the use of this mod for as long as the threads hold up, i just won't be swopping attys on it !

I have the blue one, yes you need to be carefull with the 510 + battery cap threads, but it's still a fantastic mod to hold, use and the battery life is excellent.
( don't know weather to cry or laugh, thinking of how much i paid originally ) !
But for £34 delivered ( silver only ) DNA 40, a real bargain.
2nd one now ordered :-)

Hi lairey. Have had your recipe (courtecy of kreed, thanks) saved for nearly 2 long months ! Have finally managed to get some of this elusive Horchata. Will be mixing 50ml tonight, so should be ready for xmas :-). Does smell & drip taste rather nice. Think i'm going to be experimenting with this flavour in a few recipe's. Many thanks. |

Thank You Perpetua. Your flavour description of butter is the best i've heard Don't have any CCW's, must try some as i know you highly recommend them. Just not sure which cream to use, that would balance the other creamy flavours ? Was thinking perhaps whipped cream and a drip or 2 of FArt JOY for the iceing sugary bit ! |

Hi Skwoddy. Yes he is. Took me a few days to realise EnyawReklaw is his name 'mixed' up ! He also goes by the name Yung Lungz. One thing for sure, he has a talent for understanding flavourings/recipes. I can see this young man being a major influence in the mixing industry, hope he stays true to his vocation & beliefs he started this site with and doesn't get overtaken by the commercial side of this industry. I read also, he is working in collaboration with another talented mixer by the name of, "reunited". Could be interesting to see what recipes develop from this. As i say, i'v only mixed one of his recipes and it honestly blew me away. So, i'm off to mix another couple that have caught my eye :-) |

Don't know if this has been posted before, but for those that don't know, theres a new mixing website, hosted by a young american called Wayne Walker. I have to say i'm very impressed at his recipes and flavour notes/descriptions, that i thought some of you mixers might appreciate this info.
I made one of his recipes 2 x weeks ago called Funfetti ( cake mix ), put it in a dripper last night and flippin amazing flavour, vaped the whole 10 mls ! Need to mix a lot more of this and try his other recipes.
( don't know how to do a link ), so just google this to find his website .....diyordievaping.com
Hope some of you find his site as helpfull as i have.

in his you tube vid's he occasionaly drops the F word, so if your easily offended then don't watch the vids

Mrsmac Also have couple of gt2's. great tanks but can be awkward to get the wick build just right. Not as forgiving as the kayfun. Have you tried the INTERNAL " S " shape cotton wick build yet in the Taifun GT2. This is the only way i wick the atty now and never leaks or dry hits. Great saturated flavour vape.
