reddragonNo one has said this before but if you have an ego battery it may be you are not switching it on hence no vape Can't recall if it's 3 quick presses of the ego battery to switch on or 5 but may be well worth a try before you give up on that ego-t battery  It’s 5 and it lights up when I press it but getting nothing, I am begining to think that the cartomizers are not compatible so am taking up the very kind offer of help from super-shiny and will hopefully have some super-shiny new kit soon  |

Mmm getting more confused with terminology. Just had a quick look on the links Super-Shiny posted and clearomisers are not all see through, now that helps, it is the see through that I don’t like :-)
Super-Shiny I will have a better look at the links, see what I like and don’t and will pm you for advise, thanks muchly.

Thanks for the replies, I am holding down the button when I am taking a puff but nothing, I get a feint taste of the juice but no vapour at all. I will look at those kits in more detail later but they look like they are clearomisers and personal preference, I prefer the cartomisers so was hoping to stick to them.
And thanks for the welcomes to this strange and bewildering new world ;-)

Hi everyone, New member and new vaper (is that what I am now?) here. I took the plunge 3 weeks ago and have not had an analogue cig since  I thought I had done a bit of research but it appears not! I bought a greensmoke set up and to be honest it suits me fine, is very cig like and I like their tobacco flavours. However, their non tobacco flavours are limited, who knew I would be looking for non tobacco flavours? So since the greensmoke is not really compatible with anything, I bought some 510 cartomizers and an adaptor to connect to my greensmoke battery. It kind of works but I have to hold the connection together (a bit like when your filter snapped off an cig!!) So I thought I would buy a 510 battery to use with flavoured cartomisers. I bought a ego-t 650 and I like the size, however, as it is a manual battery I am sure I am missing something as I can’t get it to fire up. The battery is charged, the light comes on when I hold the button down but there is nothing happening. It is not the cartomisers as these work kind of with the greensmoke battery. Is there anything I am missing? I have tried lifting the pin in the centre but nothing seems to be connecting. I have the cloud9vaping 510 turbo cartomizers which I thought would be compabile with the ego-t. Please be gentle with me as I am very new to this and all the lingo is baffling :-) I am hoping to get a solution to this without spending much more money!! Thanks in advance for any advice.
