And maths is supposed to be one of my strong points lairey, but I think you knew what I meant I know I am going to struggle with the steeping, dessert types are my favourite, but I have some minty ones to make too so hopefully that will keep me going along with what I have got in already.

reddragon try at 2% first of all.... Perpetua has tried for many a year to get me at 20% and steeping till the zombie apolcalpyse.....she has not suceeded.... Tease-smiley I do everything at 2%....if it's really strong at 1% Anything minging I give away. One man's rubbish is another man's treasure ....sorted:D You have me confused (very easily done though!!) are you saying to make up 10ml you would use 8-9ml of nic/pg/vg and add 1-2ml of flavour concentrate and it is vapable? Sorry if sounding dumb but that would be a good idea for some to vape whilst waiting for others to steep.

Well my first attempt Kentucky Amarretto Blend (I don’t like amarretto so god knows why I bought that!!) mixed with a very ’cheap cola’ tasting cherry cola and watermelon. Blew my head off but the watermelon was 2.4% but according to a linky above came out at just over 1.8%. I have diluted it further with some vanilla and we are getting somewhere. I am not really after creating amazing but just vapable to get the stocks of down. So far so good. The best thing about mixing pre made is no patience for steeping required just a good shake!

Thanks Perpetua my first thought is to add vanilla to everything I will have a play before my supplies arrive (and I was doing so well, I hadn’t spent a penny on vaping since Sunday, until today. I am sure I will manage a week soon!!)

Hi all, I have decided to taking the plunge into mixing. I have had a read a lot on here and I have picked 6 recipes I like the sound of and ordered the concentrates needed from chefsvapours. I have ordered bottles, syringes, nic base and PG from everythingliquid and I picked up VG in boots yesterday, so I think I am all sorted. However, I have quite a few premade juices that range from rank to ok, so my question is, is it ok to mix premade juices and is it ok to add some concentrate to some of them to try and get something vapable out of them? I understand if I add concentrates it will weaken them so would top up with nic base, it just seems such a waste (of money ) to leave them in the cupboard if I could experiment and learn about mixing along the way with a bit of trial and error. I have my notebook ready to write down all that I do, as I would hate to create a belter and not have a clue how I made it Thanks Red

Thanks for the tip Perpetua, that could be an answer to it. Was also just thinking that it might be citric acid, like making home made sherbet? BTW the mixing has been a success so far and has lead to me finding a few more flavours I like. Butterscotch is one, and I have 100ml of CCW on its way to me. Going to try a butterscotch+custard mix 'custardscotch'. Also the lemon sherbet is nice and although its only in lemon, I thought grape or raspberry would still work well with it. Surely Buttstard is a better name , I’ll get my coat.

.........this forum will seriously damage your .................................................................bank balance It is a real danger, you should not read the “show us your gear” threads as you will continually go “ooh that looks nice” and google it to see a) how much it is and b) have I a clue how to work it. I innocently looked at a thread (not in show us your gear) and went off to google ultrasonic cleaners, what are they and do I need one I was excited to get an email to tell me that my jonco unicoils have been shipped as I ordered them after the rave reviews on here. I then emailed another vendor to find out when my order will be shipped as I am so impatient for my airflow controls to arrive after a number of people suggested them, I am struggling to find more than 2 juices I really like so instead of getting through all the ones I have already in the cupboard to try, I top up a small order for coils etc with a few juices to try to make it a worthwhile parcel, you can never have too much juice I have already decided what my next big purchases are (big is over £10, below that is consumables!!) Although that may change depending what I see on here in the meantime. However, on the flip side this is the most friendly, helpful, generous forum I have ever come accross so I shouldn’t moan icon_shoppingm Red

I better check it out then, as a sucker for great reviews (which your coils have lots of) I have ordered a couple. Can’t wait for them to arrive

What VG/PG percentage eliquid do you use reddragon? You might find using one with a higher VG content would help as it wouldn't be quite so runny. The latest ones I bought are 50/50 I will see what is in the cupboard but I am sure I will have some 60/40 or 70/30 that I can try when I put them back together, thanks.

I have one tank working ok, so this morning I have stripped all the others down, cleaned them and am waiting for them to dry. I can now see the difference between the single and dual coil so that will help!! I will take on board all of the above comments when I am putting them back together. Thanks to you all, top people on here always willing to offer good friendly advice. You are the best Red

I have been doing some reading up on t’internet, would me drawing too hard cause the leaking (pulling too much liquid on to coil?) if so I think I may have found my problem, I am drawing too hard like I would do on a stinkie. I think I have slipped back in to vaping as I would smoke. I maybe need to think about what I am doing a bit more until it becomes second nature.

Thanks for that, I am rewicking with cotton wool and I will make sure that I have got enough flavour wick on them all.
How do I tell the difference between a single coil and a dual coil just by looking at them (sorry for sounding stupid!!) as I have a tub that I keep them in so they are mixed up so that could well be the problem.
I am using about 6 different liquids at the moment so it is unlikely to be that.
