No rants here anon4, some good points made by both you and others replying.
I guess another thing to think about is we're not all exactly the same & the intake & reduction of nicotine will affect some people more than others.

Well I suspect they can review all they want and probably get results they want. But I know in my heart that nicotine is so addictive. Brainwashed into believing it more like, if your told a thing is so by the authorities for long enough one will believe it after a while. Look at the numbers of peeps on here who have cut down from very high nicotine content (20mg - 30mg) ejuice to very low (2mg - 3mg) and indeed cut it out entirely. I wouldn't expect this if it was as addictive as they say. Indeed I'd like to see a change from NRT (Nicotine Replacement Therapy) to TRT (Tobacco Replacement Therapy) as you say its the tobacco and smoking that does the damage. Isnt it just like most other additive substances ?.....if you gradually lower the amount the body becomes less dependant on it ? |

I also think it is impossible for exhaled vapour to be 100% free of Nicotine (and PG/VG) I could happily believe it could be 90% less than the vapour inhaled initially, but 100% is a big ask. It depends how one might define 2nd-hand vape. It exists (anyone sitting with a vaper will notice something comes out on the exhale... I mean, look at cloud chasing..  ), but is it dangerous? Almost certainly not. In fairness, I expect most people are simply happy to accept any 2nd-hand vapour is really close to totally harmless. I'll certainly agree with that, infact I'd say youre safer sat in a room of vapers than if you drove down the M4 with a window open, the only thing I find with vaping is I cant do too much in the living room because my O/H starts coughing (she's never smoked) so I wonder how its affecting her & my little girl (hence why im trying to find out) Thats a good point Bobsbeer, I guess you could safely assume anyone blowing big clouds is probubaly going to be on a low nic level. Thanks for the replies peeps.....I do know its not the nicotine thats the dangerous part in standard smoking & it only gets a bad rap because its usually just linked to smoking...we get exposed to other things in the air far more dangerous than nicotine everyday |

Short answer is yes.
When placing the order look for the order "delivery/comments" box on the 'form'. Stick a note in there listing the flavours you want. You can also have different flavour strengths, different nicotine strengths and different PG/VG ratios.
We then make the order as per your instructions.

Thanks, so it confirms exactly what my logic is telling me, there is a very small amount of nicotine in exhaled vapour....& in an enclosed space with others vaping it could build up to higher amounts.

On Approved Vapers (facebook group) someone has claimed that..... "there is no such thing as second hand vape. Nicotine is absorbed so quickly into the system there is none present on exhale"
Apparently they got this info from the Uk health association ???
I cant find any info on their page about this, would anyone have any knowledge or info about this claim ?
I cant see it as being true, my logic kicks in & tells me its wrong, otherwise this claim means..... when you breathe in the vapour your lungs absorb all of the nicotine & you just exhale VG, PG & flavourings.....OR your lungs absorb the vapour & you exhale a different vapour....???
They then go on to claim that "Also proven that vapor breathed out is cleaner than air breathed out alone. PG is used in hospital air conditioning"
Personally I think he's on the wacky backy !

I just cut a little bit of round S/S mesh & put it in the top of the atty before I put the drip tip on.....seems to work. it does but I find I have to take it out and dry it off a few times an hour to keep the airflow open.... i'm lazy so I don't like that besides its not so easy as take the drip tip off and give it a blow through into the bit of tissue to clear it when your out, maybe its the e-juice i'm vaping or something else that's no optimal but I find there full of juice really fast, of ocurse I like cool vapour so that's probably not helping the situation either, so I just give out links etc basd on whats the simplest options (the tfv4 is the only tank I still use gauze out of choice as it doesn't clog up as fast as the others unless its really cold, and its one of the home only tanks) Sorry I should have said, I had the same problem at first & I think its because the mesh is so fine, I now use a larger grade mesh that I use for reptile vents, the holes are about 0.5mm |
