Really ?....but they dont contain any nicotine ??

Looking at a different side of the coin this post has atleast made a few old members & lurkers comment & let everyone know theyre ok ;-)

So does anyone know if EVERYTHING vape related has to be registered/conform to TPD in some kind of way or are some things totally exempt ? Ive read those links that Perpetua posted & still find it a tad confusing...(its alomst like they intended to make it confusing)
So only mods that have built in tanks will need to conform to tpd ? does that include sqonkers ? would the packaging for something like a mod intended for vaping have to be regulated just like coughing nails OR not because it doesnt contain nicotine ??

I'm still in the dark about nic base liquid & if/how thats going to be regulated.

Just posting this to pick ideas from others, I use this tank nearly everyday (love it) and for me (prefering flavour) the best set-up is single coil, the trouble is the plug theyve supplied, Obviously if i dont use it & the tank & mod are tilted the juice leaks out! If i put the plug in it does its job & stops leaking but its not as nice, i just dont get the same flavour.
Anyone have any ideas on how i can plug the holes without restricting airflow ?

here is a question for all the regulated mod users, the newer regulated mods are classed as disposable mods (designed to brake after the manufacture warranty and in some cases before smok im looking at you), now they're getting more expensive, at what price point will you stop buying them,just when tpd finally hits everyone this year, prices are gonna rise at least 20-50% so the new box mods will hit £100+ just for the box without tank and batteries, remember the snow wolf was £135 when it came out, let's face it, they're not made like they were, so im asking you the question, what will you do if your mod brakes after may? and the prices have reached £200 for a full kit ?


One thing that confuses me is the "disposable" comment !.....IMO everything from china has & still is disposable, infact 95% of what we use & buy today is also disposable.....As far as I can tell nothing has changed yet, people are still buying mods from B&M in the UK that break after a few months & people have to chuck them & buy new ones, I cant see how they dont have 1yr gaurantee (I thought that was the law for electrical products in the UK ?)
Apart from its real intention of taxing something & providing revenue for the governments youd think TPD would help improve the quality of these products?

There also seems to be some weird kind of mentality that theres some huge difference between people that use regulated mods & people who use mech mods ?...like if you use regulated then you obviously have no clue about building coils & about vaping safety because its something you dont really need to know when using a regulated mod, which just isnt true.
Its a bit like the devide thats growing between people who see vaping as a safer option to get nicotine & quit the stinkies & people who seem to think its just a device for blowing clouds.....what a strange world we live in.

Couldnt agree more, I'd change the pump along with any tensioners, because sods law if you dont, it'll come back & bite you on the arse at a later date.

I used to have a little clio williams, theyre a bloody nightmare to work on (2.0L engine in a small engine bay) had to take the engine out to replace a water core plug that was behind the cam pulley, changed the water pump & belt at the same time & was going to do the clutch aswell as its an engine out job but thought id save myself £200 in parts & not bother......6 months later the clutch went, thats the day I learnt my lesson on that !...never penny pinch on something like that again lol
