They wanted £148 until I busted them for screen wash which they couldn't have topped up, as the independent garage had filled it until it over-flowed the day before... Sadly thats just common pratice to add things like that on the bill even if theyve been done or not, along with other bits like clips, connectors, cable ties, spray oil, brake fluid etc, its usually added as "fluids top up" or "sundries" & can be anywhere between £5-20 extra, one vauxhall main dealer I worked at added those charges to every car that came in regardless, if the customer questioned it or got upset about it theyd just take it off to avoid upsetting them more.....but most didnt complain, average charge of £10 extra per customer, say 15 customers per day, £750 per week....it soon adds up over the year !....alot of garages do this now, even independent ones. In my experince as far as having main dealer stamps in your service book, if you own a Ferrari, then yes main dealer history is worth its weight in gold, if you drive an everyday car like us normal folk then its only worth it if your going to sell the car on whilst its still relatively new, once its getting old (over 5yrs) ive found it doesnt really make that much of a difference & doesnt add much to the resale value, stamps from non main dealers are just as good...people just see "full service history" Also the market is flooded with S/Hand vehicles these days & in reality its a buyers market. Credit is also much easier to get now on cars (esp if you go to one of the rip off merchants like Car Shop that deal in ex lease vehicles) Also considering the fact that alot of main dealers are terrible for charging for things they havent done, Ive worked in 3 main dealer parts departments & they we're all the same, I used to go round the workshop once a month with a box collecting new service parts from mechanics benches that hadnt been fitted, but the customer was still charged for them.....added back to stock as "zero cost" which just meant better profit margins....Personaly I'd trust independent garages more than most main dealers, they have to work harder to keep customers comming back, main dealers will always have work comming into the workshop aslong as theyre selling new cars.

computer link & software to register it was done. I'm guessing thats for newer cars, as far as i know you dont register a cambelt change on mine, i just reset the service indicator when i link it up to my laptop Ive worked in a few main dealers in bodyshops & parts departments, im sorry to say what youve been put through isnt an oversight, ive watched service departments rip people off left righ & centre Ive got to have a cambelt done on my car too, cant do it myself as i dont have the right tools or a place to do it.....but I can tell you it wont be going to any audi main dealer !...lol

I'm waiting for a 40% from Chef's as I have a tonne of stuff in my basket......even though I am still a bit lemon with them for processing 60 quid of orders over the phone when they had their Paypal problem.....and not mentioning the huge discount they released the day after..... I never buy from chefs anymore, in my eyes theyre a company thats just out for pure profit regardless how they achieve it, I bought a load of discontinued concentrates from them a while back, they said it was just a line that wasnt selling very well so they were getting rid of what they had left, but when they arrived you could see something wasnt right with them, some just didnt smell right & some had started to seperate, when i contacted them about it they just said....."thats why we're selling them off" I ended up chucking the lot in the bin, it wasnt alot of money (£30-40) but to me....thats is alot of money out of my tiny vape budget!

Ummm - if by "packing more into your years" you mean consuming huge quantities of illicit substances, then most likely yes. That's what I believe is responsible for causing so many of those "celebs" to die before their time. Nail on the head there Dave, prince, george & carrie all had big class A drug problems, we all know what affects these drugs have on vital organs like the heart....& all 3 died due to heart problems.

This looks interesting So if I bought a 500ml boss shot does that mean it's enough concentrate to make 500ml of finished juice? Surely it's not 500ml of concentrate is it? I wish it was 500ml of concentrate for that price...@20% i could make 2.5ltrs ;-) But no youre right, they supply all the concenrates pre mixed in a bottle & its enough to make either 500ml, 1Ltr or 2Ltrs (some people mix at 15% and make more) the idea is, you just add your PG/VG & nic to the bottle, shake & steep. If I can I buy them as non boss shots so all the concentrates come in separate bottles, then i can make smaller amounts to see if i like it & if not then i still have the concentrates to use for different mixes.

Yeah i do, I use a magnetic stirrer with hotplate on its lowest setting, but only once in a blue moon when I get a boss shot from flavour boss because its 500ml or 1ltr. Anything less than that I just mix in a bottle & give it a shake once a week
