striker42 Got my little squonker up and running today. I did not make a good job of the copper strip but I have another that I am going to replace it with but for now it works.

You can ask Sledz to do the 3D printing at a higher resolution giving you a better finish but it costs extra. I think that will come in the future. If the quality was a bit better and the price increase was reasonable, I'm sure they'd still sell them easily. I'm going to order an alumide box when he does the next run of them. Sledz was supposed to be taking orders for the Alumide boxes this week again but it has not happened. |

I ordered an Floris Mini Orca box today, more expensive than the Sledz boxes but it is delrin. I have all the bits to put a mech Squonker together. Total cost for my mech squonker will be £55.
