I have tried a pipe Karma, nasty isnt the word lol!!!

Wow, so many replies, thankyou everyone for your words of wisdom and support, it really does help and makes me realise that I am not on my own in trying to quit the nasties.

I will contact my sister and ask her what information she has regarding e-cigs - I suspect she doesnt have a lot of info to be honest, it was just a fleeting statement over dinner and I wasnt in the best of moods as my dad had driven us to my sisters and he is a completely vile driver and had caused me to have a massive panic attack on the way there.

Its the Riva kit I bought, pink of course lol, and I have loads of juices, my particular faves so far being Tiger Blood and Ice cherry I think it is - I bought tobacco ones too which I havent used, the drum in particular smells like a stinky ashtray so I wont be using that though.

I have another kit, very kindly gifted to my by Bel one that looks just like a ciggie, and my fella is going to use that and he will use the tobacco flavours.

One thing I know that is a stumbling block for me is that I smoke something else, I suffer with arthritis and degenerative disc problems, and have enough pain meds to fell a herd of cows and I would rather not take them so I use the other stuff just in an evening, a tiny amount, and helps a little with the pain rather than rattling with 100s of pills - I am looking for a herbal tobacco that I could use instead of the nasty tobacco and I feel once I have found an alternative for that I will find it a lot easier.

My riva is on charge as we speak and I am going to be using it again today.

Not trying to make excuses but my head just wasnt in it, got all excited, order my kit, juices, atomisers, and started, but just stopped trying.

Hit a brick wall I think, just had so much going on here at home trying to get my lounge decorated before xmas (well me supervising it anyway lol) and loads of hospital appointments, then since christmas absolute uproar upstairs in my house trying to get my daughters room redecorated and her new posh bed put up whilst also trying to get part of my room decorated so that I could get a bigger wardrobe (had to paper behind it so it doesnt have to be moved) and council workmen in my house and furniture and toys and teddys everywhere, blah blah blah blah............................

Just been a nightmare few months, I know I shouldnt make excuses but well everything just go to me and I just needed to smoke *sigh*

One thing too, my eldest sister is a Senior Cessation Officer and at a birthday lunch last sunday (for me lol) I spoke to her about e-cigs and she shook her head in disgust, stating that the juices contain carcinogenics

Have googled it and have seen some information but really havent been able to get my head round anything so didnt really take it all in.

*blows out a big puff of exasperated air* :-[
