In the item specifics it says "Scent: Eucalyptus" Don't know what that's about but it would be worth checking with the seller.

Thanks @scooby
It also looks like the internal regulation is very good on these devices, for the iStick exactly 1.00A and the MVP2 exactly 0.90A. Gives you a bit of confidence in them.

OK, so I ran down the battery on the iStick until it displayed lock and started charging it. It draws 1.00A on a 2.1A usb charger and exactly the same on a 1A usb charger. This is at the start of the charge cycle* where current draw will be the greatest. You can also use a smaller charger e.g a 0.5A laptop port, but it will take longer to charge. So, I'm happy to use my 2.1A charger but a 1A charger will be fine. * there's a nice graph that shows how the current drops during the charge cycle here batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/charging_lithium_ion_batteries

I waited and got the flat tip ceramic tweezers from FT. They are actually round tip rather than flat but are excellent. Superb for squeezing coils in the atomizer after heating them up from your mod. www.fasttech.com/products/0/10007588/1655800In case you have an accident, you can get replacement tips for them but they are nearly as expensive as new tweezers! www.fasttech.com/products/3023/10007588/1660502The pointed tip tweezers look a bit fragile at the end for me.

It looks like a Nice bit of kit, but I think too powerful for the Istick. You think? I have one of those. Delivers 5v per port (usb standard) but the istick should only pull the amps needed. I was under the impression that plugging a device into a charger that can't deliver enough current is the worst thing to do rather than the other way round. Correct me if i'm wrong! You are correct, I've heard the argument about if something goes wrong it will draw less current, but I would rather charge a 1A load on a 2A supply at a nice cool 50% of max output than on a smaller supply running at full blast. We plug equipment into 13A mains sockets every day. It's very rare that we actually need that much. Next time I charge my iStick I'll measure the current.

I'm also looking for an mow or mow mega. A couple of questions, I've read that the capacity of the normal mow is 1.6ml but have seen the mega quoted at 2.0ml and 2.8ml. Which one is correct? Also does anyone know where I can buy the mega tank on it's own, I can only seem to find the whole kit with the battery.

I'm charging my MVP2 and I've got two USB chargers, a 1A and a 2A. It doesn't matter which one I plug it into it draws the same current, 0.9A. Chargers less than 0.9A will also work with the MVP2 but will take longer to charge. Don't worry about the size of the charger, just make sure you buy good quality equipment. You can get one of these to monitor the current (and voltage) and see for yourself www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Accessories/XTAR-USB-Detector.HtmlAlso useful for mobile phones, tablets etc.

Hello and welcome to aaec. Sent from me from some far away land. Hi I watched your great video on the Unicoil yesterday! I usually put a couple of drops of juice on the coil and fresh cotton before I put the chimney back on. No need? Cheers

Hi
What is the supplied charger? My mvp2 just came with a USB cable. I usually use a 1A 240v USB adapter (ex HTC phone charger) although I guess the charging rating is regulated by the mvp2 itself.

Ordered on the 03/08. Despatched on the 06/08. Delivered on the 14/08.
11 days, not bad, Singapore post.
A lot of the delays seem to be with stock level. If they have sold out, they sometimes wait for it to come back in, otherwise they post it separately at a later date. An out of stock item posted later once arrived earlier than the rest of the order!

Sorry! I had to laugh, Peterds introduction made this place sound like Vapers Anonymous, Hi! I'm Mow and I'm addicted to Vaping,,, OK I'll get my coat shall I??? Welcome aboard Peterd,,,, Mow,,,, Lol, had to laugh at that, yes vaping has become a bit addictive for me. Got a basic starter kit a few months ago and it all escalated from there. Then got a VV/VW ego type battery and before I knew it had a mvp and a vamo as well. Then I got my first dripper (a Zenith clone) and learned to build coils and wicks. Now I'm all over the place with drippers, mech mods. batteries, all sorts. I've upgraded my original tanks and now use an Aerotank and a Nautilus. I've also rebuilt the coil head in one of my tanks with some help from a thread on here! Next plan is to get a Kayfun, see what all the fuss is about. Too many juices to mention but I'm an RY4 fan, love Druids Brew Bread of Heaven and like the occasional fruit, menthol or any other flavour for a change. Thanks for the welcome all!

Hi, I'm Pete, been vaping now for a few months (and first tried a few years ago before I drifted back to rollups). I've been a member on UKV forum for a while but I like the look of this place too. Hope I can join in.
