hi everyone, I'm looking for a bit of guidance/advice regarding my mvp2. I've had it approx 6 months and its started to run out of charge a lot quicker than before. It charges up then shows only 4.1 volts and feels quite hot to the touch after then needs charging again approx 12 hours later where as before it would last 2 days. Is this normal wear and tear or do you think there is a fault.
Thanks for any help Ray

Hi putlog,i have had my MVP2 for 8 month, and now it just go,s up to 4.1 volt after charging,as before it went to 4.2 volts. Also it dosent last 1.5-2 days like it did before.Ill get a days vaping out of it now.Think this is normal with the MVP,s after a while.Dont know about the hot to the touch though, mine dosent go hot after a charge.Still love it though.

I have found that its very important to use the recommended charger with all devices, but more especially an MVP. If this device is used exclusively then it obviously will shorten its longevity. In saying that I would still expect it to be good for longer than six months. Why or how the battery is overheating I cannot say, the best person for this would probably be ronaldo as he works with them on a daily basis. I have one that now only goes to 4.1 when charged but I can still go well into the second day of vaping with it. The built in battery is the biggest down fall with an MVP, but I still wouldn't be without 1 or 4.

They look so much better without the ego threading sticking out the top.

have you ever dropped it as I have had 2 in for repair with overheating problems and have tracked it down to a hairline fracture of the board and as you will know by now parts are near on impossible to find for these for safety purposes please keep a eye on it when charging and if it gets hot stop charging it as a cool battery is a safe battery a hot battery is a danger don't allow them to get to hot it is simply not worth the risk I could take a look at it but I fear it is a defective board and you wont be able to find a replacement board as I don't seem to get these in as spares people seem to just bin them which is a shame really

ronaldo if anybody is caught binning an MVP they should be sent to the naughty corner to vape high voltage at 50w.

I totally agree as I have a list of members all awaiting parts 47 at the last count and all the repairs would be easy if the parts were available I have even lent a vamo to a 94 year old until I find the parts to fix her MVP I am sure the parts will come they always do eventually

I'm having the same issue mines has started to get hot whilst charging. Also the light used to go out once charged but now it doesn't. I charged it for nearly 8 hours the other day with supplied charger and it didn't get past 4v also the light didn't go out. I got about 200 puffs today from about a 7 hour charge ! Is it worth contacting myepack as it's only 6 months old and probably only had 20 charges max. Cheers george Sent from my Death Star

Hi
What is the supplied charger? My mvp2 just came with a USB cable. I usually use a 1A 240v USB adapter (ex HTC phone charger) although I guess the charging rating is regulated by the mvp2 itself.

Dumbass protank 2 lol
