I have it on good authority that a two page amendment is being implemented into the TPD to close all the "loopholes". On the plus side it seems that there may be a relaxation on vaping in the workplace.

Unfortunately you will get paid well if:
1) You can do something that a limited number of other people can.
2) You are willing to do something that other people don't want to.
As for the soldier argument there are a few things to point out here too:
1) Any able bodied person can be a soldier, it requires no qualifications unless you are going into a specialist role. A librarian by comparison has to have A-Levels which not everyone is able to achieve.
2) They chose to do that job knowing the risks and salary beforehand.
Don't think for a minute that i think that this is right but there are reasons that these people earn what they do.

A company that thought that it was too big to fail, selling low end gear at top end prices, it was never going to end well! Seems that the FDA speeded up the decision for them.

Yeah they were really nice guys, i spent a fortune with them. Was it just hardware you got or did you sample any juices? I sampled juices but none of their own, the hardware was reasonable from what i remember. |

I shan't be going for it, but I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised by the approach of "The Vapes"...... I guess you can be reasonably confident you can make money (in all this TPD mess) when you charge £15.99 for Halo.  They seem to claim they are going to open 100 concessions across the region. If they do, I shall be shopping... why not? ..just not for e-liquid... The hardware seems quite reasonably priced to me.  I thought the name rang a bell, I'm pretty sure *-SARIN-* and I had a natter with them at VF. They seemed sound. Yeah they were really nice guys, i spent a fortune with them. |

On the subject of silly questions, I have a couple. (ok, three actually) 1. Is the vaccination a one off, once in a lifetime procedure or would it have to be repeated every 3/5/10 years etc. to maintain the desired effect ? 2. Will there be, could there be or is there ever any likelihood somewhere along the line of any detrimental side effects ? 3. The vaccine, by my way of reading things, only prevents the subject from attaining pleasure, it still doesn't guarantee they won't partake in the intake of nicotine or alcohol. Does it ? On the little information available it would be a no from me. 1. They are once off vaccinations as far as i'm aware. 2. Possibly, nothing is perfect and there isn't time in the drug synthesis timeline to do a 20 year trial before the patent runs out. 3. Correct, the subject can still take both alcohol and nicotine but derives no pleasure from either. They would not get drunk or addicted to nicotine. |
