All my custards are around the 4/5 mth mark before I use them, I deliberately make some custards every time I mix even if I already have a bunch and put them away, that way no matter what I always have some ready to vape at varying stages of maturity.
As I have lowered nic each batch has been lighter and lighter so IME it is definitely the nic that colours them, for example at the moment I have two April custards on the go, one at 8mg which is a dark rich brown but another made the same time with no nic is as clear as the day I made it.

I've an equal mix of PG & VG in the freezer and bought when sales were on last yr and just a couple of smaller bargain orders early this yr, a few from UK Flavours then I have Darkstars, The ECig shop, Pirates Vape, LT Cigs and a couple of others I can't remember the name of. They all looked and smelt the same to me to be honest before I decanted into glass and froze them. I've pretty used a bit from each batch and there has been no difference aside from the LT Cigs being harsher than the others.

minime My nautilus stock coils take a good tank or two to bed in and then last for around 2 weeks, I have one permanently for the car with RA in it and when I change the coil the taste isn't that good for at least a tank and a half and RA is a pretty strong vape so you'd think it would hit instantly but it doesn't. Love my nautilus tanks for ease of use, no leaks ever. I only use stock coils for the tank with Red Astaire though, my other nautilus tanks are run with some recoiled heads from smifee on here down to around 1.4 and wicked with tape, they are much better for heavy & sweeter mixes I find and the airflow is different with the recoiled ones.

I've not bought into any of these speed steeping methods. I just read all the tips on here over and over, mix it, forget it, vape it a few months later. The only exception to that is some fruit mixes that I've found lose their sparkle if left too long but even they can be buttered up with a little more concentrate before you vape them.

Hmm think I'l stick with V1 for now as it is rather good and I don't need to buy any more concentrates at the moment My mixing follows your mixing I think Perpetua, mix it, cupboard it and forget it, make a new list to mix, mix it, cupboard it and forget it, new list and so on, oooh mix box is full, best start vaping some, ooh see new recipe to try, mix it, cupboard it and it goes on but I have to say that other than a few fruit mixes that have lost their sparkle my desert mixes are lush when I actually get round to using them. Only thing is that these May ones at 8mg feel a little high nic now so I'm glad my July & Aug ones I did at 6-7mg or thereabouts. I'll have one more purge before xmas as I really need a bigger stash of custards and then that's it until next year I think *she says sheepishly knowing it won't happen*

Oooh now that is cheap there Perpetua isn't it! Might give the V2 a go, presume that is raspberry jam as opposed to strawberry?

Now I think they have done several variations of this but I think I got the first one, the bottle doesn't say. Mixed it 29/5 at 18% 40pg/60vg 8mg and have just got round to trying it, by golly it's good, I'd seen reviews saying burnt toast, bland etc etc and to be honest I wasn't expecting much but it is really really good, tastes exactly like jam on toast! At 18% it's a good flavour for me just in a protank on a 1.4 cotton microcoil, I try everything in them first to gauge how strong they could be so I would imagine it would be much stronger in a different tank. I think it must benefit from a really good steep as mine has had. I don't get any burnt toast at all, just buttered jammy toast, yummy
