Thank you, maytwin  So there's nicotine in your case. I plan to buy nicotineless liquid for my vap' and to vape a few times as a substitute for the few nicotineless cigs I smoke each week. To me, if there's smoke (or alike), there's smoking. To France too (since vaping is not allowed everywhere in France). Bonjour maytwin I'm glad to meet all of you here I do own an e-cig. I bought it a few years ago, while I was still a tobacco smoker. I haven't get used to it yet. Smoking it usually made me feel like smoking a regular cig right afterwards. To me, vaping is still smoking (-> smoke). I would not vape if there were no apparent smoke to exhale (I have my own theory regarding how important it is the exhaled smoke must be seen by the smoker). So my questions are: how often do you vape? Is vaping an addiction for you? How much nicotine in the e-fluid (if any)? Merci For me, I had to make the decision to stop smoking cigarettes entirely. My first e-cig (a Joyetech 510) didn't work for me and although I used it occasionally, I carried on smoking for another 2 years. Once I had upgraded to vv/vw and refillable tanks I realised that could work and after about 6 weeks of dual use, I stopped buying cigarettes and the rest is history ! I did have cravings for a couple of months, particularly for the first and last cigarette of the day, but if they had been available I don't think I wouldn't have stopped at 2 a day ! Although I get the satisfaction of inhaling/exhaling etc, I don't see vaping as smoking, it being something I enjoy rather than an addiction. I have lowered my nicotine from 18mg to 12mg and am quite happy to stay there. |

Welcome to the forum @anton. I'm English but have lived in France for 10 years and smoked for 4 decades before switching to vaping just over 3 years ago. I never thought I'd stop smoking and don't believe anything other than vaping would have worked for me |

For years the "antis" having been banging on about not allowing vaping "because it looks like smoking". Most of us I'm sure vape on a device that looks nothing like a cigarette, yet the very thing that has been licensed looks like, well, a cigarette  |

I'm lucky in that I've just received a little "windfall" and seeing a P3 at 50% off, well, I had to didn't I ?  Having seen them at 40% off on Friday, and then 50% yesterday, I think you're right VE Jason, that half price is what prompted me to go for it before they all sold out ! LOL - mine reckons it's the best thing since sliced bread (and he's not a smoker or a vaper) !! Mine gave up smoking about 18 months before I started vaping. He went cold turkey  gould knows how he managed that, I couldn't go cold turkey, no way  Me neither Toots (I tried it just once, years ago - lasted about 2 or 3 days and I was hell to live with !)  |
