Been trying to get a Sig Mini Book in red for SWMBO from Focal. I had one ordered, but they e-mailed me. "Sorry, out of stock. We can send you a black one." Not happy, but "Ok, send me the black one". E-mail today, "Sorry, we don't have a black one, is there anything else you want instead?" Why do they say they have it and then find they don't? Jeeeeezzzzzz

Well, that's pretty much how I did it Jon VapingBad. A couple of variations, but essentially the same. Still seemed a lot of faff. And an amount of unusable twistings at each end. But I suppose it's only Ni200, and not triple twisted platinum wire....

Nicotine loves to react with oxygen = changes colour and starts to smell Most of the pure nicotine ( 1000mg) used for e-liquid base is supplied by the producers in 1lt HDPE plastic bottles ---this pure nicotine in plastic bottles comes with a five year best before date ( when stored below 20C and bottle head space filled with an inert gas)* see photos DIY Nicotine base does not expand in the freezer you can/should fill your bottles to the very brim and or squeeze HDPE bottles to eliminate as much head space as is possible. Any bottle head space will contain 20% Oxygen gas Top Tip When filling any bottles use the right gloves ( nitrile gloves) Don't be tempted to use Disposable Clear Polythene Food Handling Gloves as even the smallest spill makes these type of gloves incredibly slippy = you will drop your bottles. While I agree with the idea of not using slippery gloves, I'm sure you are ok to handle nicotine at 72mg/ml quite safely without gloves. I am not suggesting you do this, but nicotine is not as poisonous/toxic as is stated. If you drink it neat, you will be violently sick. Really violently sick, as the human body reacts to any toxic substance like that (like alcohol). You should also seek medical attention immediately, but it is doubtful that you would die. The ingress through skin is extremely slow (like alcohol), so getting a drop or two on your hand will not be adverse to your health. I don't advocate bathing in it, but don't panic if you spill some in your lap for instance (apart from it making more clothes washing). Don't inject it though. That'll kill you if you try it. But nobody will try that. Right? Well yes, some will, but the world is full of idiots. So we are told to wear gloves as it's highly toxic. Even though it really isn't that bad, it is toxic. As is oxygen. But that ain't banned/restricted. Use gloves that don't slip, or it might be expensive if you drop the bottle. Or use what you were born with, and don't spill it. Either one. Same outcome. Same level of safety. PS I added it to this post as it also mentions the toxicty of oxygen. Thanks for my intrusive lecture.

Exactly lobeydosser. If it suits you, do it. Unless it offends people. I'm pleased that you vape the way you do. It stops high demand for the equipment I like to use. Thus keeping the cost down so I can spend it on mixing supplies.... ....and a dehumidifier, so I can see my way to the fridge.

Blimey tim , if that is what happens when you sub-ohm, then I will definitely not be trying that!!!! Once every couple of months, I mix myself 2 lots of 100ml. That does me for my basic day to day vaping. I do occasionally mix 30ml bottles of other mixes, just to try them out, but these will only get used when I am sitting at the shed door, watching the rain piddling down and keeping me from working in the garden. I have wondered about trying sub-ohming, but after what you have said, then I will stick to old fashioned 1.6/1.8 coils and vaping at 5w. Wow. 5 watts. That doesn't even warm the juice, let alone produce vapour! CE5's don't cut it with me anymore I'm afraid. I don't like blowing clouds in public though. That's just antisocial. BTW. I bought a dehumidifier to deal with the fog in the house... Vape how you like it I say. Each to their own. We are different due to diversity in the human race. I like that.

Hi tim , "Between us, SWMBO and me use about 40-55ml per day", surely you mean per week or even 2 weeks. I use 3ml a day, sometimes pushing 3.5ml on a bad day but that would have to be a very bad day. I mix between 250ml-1l per week. This weekend I mixed 1.4 litres (I have some new flavours to try). Admittedly, she spills some (quite a bit actually) as do I on occasions. I suppose we could turn the watts down, but where's the fun in that?

By my reckoning tim 1L of 72mg/ml nicbase should last approximately (only) 13.5 months if consuming an average of 50ml/day between you @3.5mg/ml nic strength
If you want it to last "a few more years" find am alternate non-vaping partner! If I could find a rich version of my wife, who is very nubile, I'd still keep the one I know. Even though she has faults (don't we all), I'd miss her too much. Even if it means I have to mix her juice (ooherrr). I'd better buy some more nic........ Cheers

Anyone got any unique methods of twisting multiple wires? Not dual twisted, that's straightforward, but triple, quadruple, etc. And especially the odd amounts.
I can do it, with a drill, but there is a load of waste. And/or disasters!
TIA

Between us, SWMBO and me use about 40-55ml per day @ 3.5mg/ml (makes mixing simpler) and I have just under a litre of 72 mg/ml left. I'm 52, so I need this to last me a few more years. Should I get some more? It looks like a lot at the moment. Probably gonna get more anyway when my tax return hits the mat. I can always sell it to you guys at extortionate prices

Just a quick heads up for those few on here with some taste; the Lost Vape therion 75 is back in stock on fasttech. Tease-smiley That'll be the returned ones. "Reason for return: It's scaring the the cat with it's fugliness!"

Buy stuff from these guys if they are selling something. They both get it packed and dispatched immediately. Fantastic business. Especially if you are normally waiting for a delivery from China. Like me Big praises for them both.

I'm with jtc on the Therion. Is it made from girders? No smooth lines. Not a nice feel I would suggest. Too many corners digging into the hand. I don't have one, but wouldn't buy one to find out if I might be wrong. IMHO
