hopefully mine is a one off?? the coil in the subtank was vaped on another mod this morning and leaked!! i have pulled the coil and dismantled it will post pics later (camera battery charging atm) initial looks indicate some cotton singing, but it may be juice staining?? a hidef camera pic may reveal more than my eyes can determine ? My TC vaping is currently limited to using subtanks and minis with kanger Ni Occ coil heads Ive yet to build a nickel coil and wick it without bending the feck out of it Buy some tempered, and don't pulse it for hot spots. Heating it makes it soft.

I just got my first bottles of e-liquid through the post today. I'm not quite sure about how to go about steeping them... I shook them, and put them in a cupboard, but I don't know if I should leave the lids off or not? and about how long should I leave them for? I still have some left of the bottle I was given when I bought my kit which ought to last me for another three or four days, (I hope). I know from what I've read the longer I wait the better, but I might have to dip into one of them by the middle of next week if I run out. Any tips appreciated! (oh... and do I need to shake them every day?? I did open them just to smell them... a couple of them are really nice! Generally, if you buy your juice pre-made, it will be steeped by the time it arrives. As has been said, fruity juice needs almost no time to steep, and if you buy a complex mixed custardy/bakery/spicy type juice, the supplier will send it ready to vape. The steeping really only applies to us skinflints who mix our own. Although some vendors will make up a different quantity / pg/vg ratio / flavour strength that would require steeping (ageing), but will tell you to leave it to steep for x amount of days/weeks.

Steeping time is simple. Mix it, order some batteries from China, when they arrive it's steeped.

cheers DiscoDes i will try another coil fingers crossed.... and perhaps dig out the spare seals too. Check the seals on the new atty head too. Often overlooked. There is a tiny one on the bottom of it where it screws to the base.

I must admit, I enjoyed the first one more Roscopecotrain. I lost my chauffeur for the night at the last minute (damn kids, don't trust 'em) and was prepared to sleep rough in the car (had a sleeping bag too) but I got cold feet with the negativity from the bar. I know I shouldn't even have considered staying in the car, but I would have if the atmosphere was lighter, as it was last year. So, maybe we should keep out the cloud chasers? I dunno..... The vendors who sponsor want a bigger audience. It's a tough call. I just hope it can continue there. And thanks for these two years that I attended.

So thicker wire provides more resistance and will need more wraps. As such you can get more vapour and flavour in general? So coil design plays a large role then as well as wrap amount and wrap size? Thicker wire produces less resistance so more power is needed to heat the wire to the same temp as thinner wire. The thicker wire will give you more surface contact with the wick so more juice is vaporized, so bigger clouds and flavor. There are many other factors like airflow and coil geometry that effect vapor production and flavor as well. The problem with thicker wire, while what you say is correct, is that it takes longer to heat up, and longer to cool down. As such, it requires a different approach to vaping, where it is pointless vaping for the first second or so until it heats up, and the power needs to be off before you finish *drawing*, or the juice will just caramelize on the coil. Which is not good. Just my tuppence.

At the moment, I believe the Velocity has the vote. It really is a good RDA. Every vaper is catered for, as you can adjust the air-flow to however airy/tight you want it. It has an amazing amount of room on the deck to build whatever you want, the post holes are plenty big enough for claptons, etc, and mine even came with a BF pin. I love it.
