Yes, although it should be viewed as a rough guide rather than gospel, but it does normally give a good starting point with the heat flux showing green or medium. The one I posted the heat flux is 176 mW/mm² @ 30 W (green medium) and the 10 wrap one is 254 mW/mm² (yellow warm). The 14 wrap should be good from 27 W - 35 W, where as the 10 wrap 18 W - 24 W. Again it is a rough estimate so 12 or 13 wrap may still be good and I better than 10. Yes, but I thought that drippers, with the increased air flow should be run at warmer (orange) temperatures, as the increased air cools the coil much quicker, thus producing more vapour. Maybe I mis-read that somewhere, but it seems to work in real life.

I'm a little disappointed. Sigelei 75W Magma RDA 0.32 NI200 10 turns on a 3mm mandrel 0.14 Ohms Temp 200C 30W Vape cloud acceptable, but could be better Flavour poor Is it my coil, my RDA or is it just me?
Jim
VapingBad Sorry VB, but I couldn't of anyone else to tag! I have not used any of that kit, but I suspect that there is not enough contact area between the coil and wick, putting it into SteamEngine calc for that gauge wire, 3 mm former & 30 W recommends around 14 wraps. Are you sure John? www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp?mat=ni200&r=0.14&hfnw=30&dia=0.32&id=3

Hi and welcome nanotm. You seem to have your head around this vaping malarky. I think you will be able to forget about tobacco products sooner than you think. I too tried, and failed, with all the other NHS prescribed or advised methods. Vaping an ego type pen, like the kit you have, started me on the road to vaping. Now it is more hobby, and I never think about smoking any more. In fact, I hate the lingering smell it leaves every where it has been. I'm not exactly anti-smoking, but my sense of smell has returned. And I used to smell like that all the time. So, good luck, and ask any vaping questions you wish. None are too silly. We all asked them at one time, and nobody can know everything.

Just hold the lemo at an angle Peter and fill slowly allowing the air to be expelled by the incoming juice. Watch the air bubble inside the tank slowly rise as you fill and stop filling just before the bubble would disappear. Straighten up the tank, close the filler and open the AFC. .. Job done. I fill my Lemo 2's until juice appears at the fill slot, then let some juice get sucked back into the bottle, just enough to allow me to close it without it dripping down the side of the tank. Not had many leaks with them, only when I first filled them, which was a wicking issue (not enough to stop flooding). I do close the AFC first, and vape on it for 3 or 4 draws afterwards to get the vacuum back. HTH

They are splendid summertime garden cleaners. They eat up all sorts of nasties that you would otherwise be pestered with, eg caterpillar larvae, which would decimate your veg patch/flowers. Unfortunately, at this time of the year, the males are kicked out of the nest and get drunk on rotting fruit, or slowly starve to death. This is why they get bothersome. They are greatly maligned, much like sharks and snakes etc.
Give 'em some slack, they're homeless and hungry. And don't flap your arms around when you see them, it just makes them angry.

it is strange how folks taste differ I also find it interesting how our tastes can pick up or not on different notes in a recipe/flavour . . . . at the time Grant created GVC, we actually had very few concentrate options available to us to purchase - as incredible as that now sounds, being totally spoilt for choice. I'd suspect that there are 2 ( possibly 3 ) flavours used along with some EM in the original, so perhaps it boils down to the base ingredients that make the difference. As long as it's an enjoyable vape, that's all that matters really. The addition of CCW's Egg Nog to VC is my current project - then I'm going to have a tinker with DV's Creme Anglaise, which I just had to buy. I'm steeping this at the moment Mandy, it's had two weeks so far, with some VC from UKF, so only another two weeks before I try it. Let me know if you try your custard mixes before/after then. I also got some Vanille Francaise from DV which is at the same stage. I spot/lick tasted both of them and couldn't tell the difference, but steeping/vaping may be different. If not, I have 100ml of the same conc in differently packaged bottles

On a less flippant side, do you prefer pre-built heads or do you rebuild on a deck? And what sort of budget, ie Clone or Authentic?

set the pitch at 0.5mm pipeman01Oh, and you will need a lot of watts. Do you know what you are doing? No offence.
