well thankfully Steve from ecigs sent me a new battery... but lost performance gradually over the week.. last night all 3 batteries had failed!...(i was due to send duff one back to steve)...however it was the charger!...my hubbie (an electronics man) took it apart and there was a loose wire with the faulty rubber bung inside...he has done a temporary repair but it wont last that long..
since then all 3 have fully charged and WOW...i am getting a great vape now....and Steve is sending me out a replacement charger...Great service

Jacci, I just wish the NHS smoking clinics would recommend e-cigs. However, as they are funded by the drug companies, that sadly isn't going to happen  i went to a meeting last week for the NHS stop smoking service...(i work in the NHS) and in the middle of the meeting i introduced the e-cig that i have (ego riva) and commenced to vape to introduce the concept! at that point the lead manager took out hers and used hers lol.....everyone was very excited about the e-cig...but at this stage there are no clinical trials to deem them healthy to warrant them being available for prescription.....however i would watch this space |

mine is doing the same (ego riva)...ive just charged it up...the battery flashes about 10 times then off. i have re- connected it with the charger and it says it is full...battery less than 2 weeks old...other one working fine...no sticky button at all ???

Daisy, can you try blowing through the atomizer onto some tissue. Just hold the tissue over the battery connector and blow through the other end. Move the tissue after each blow until you stop getting any liquid out of the atomizer. Then add two drops of liquid onto the metal bridge/spike and try that without the cartridge. Worth a try. Steve. done that with both of them....blew a bit of liquid out of one, but the other is blowing dry. put 2 drops liquid on the metal spike ...which is glowing when i turn it on but drawing nothing...does taste burnt. |

It's tight with the middle plug (with the hole in) and airy when I remove the middle bit....the fluffy bit inside is soaked in juice and it bubbles slightly when I press the button to heat it up...but barely any smoke

Daisy, the condom method is only for cartomisers, not atomisers & cartridges  Sometimes atomisers can take a while to break in & work to full strength. Have you tried dripping a couple of drops of juice directly into the atomiser? No more than 2 or 3 drops though, or you will flood it. will do that now  |

i have tested both the atomisers...they do appear to be working, and there's plenty of juice in the cartridge as the filler is almost swimming in juice... there's just no smoke or draw, but i can taste the juice dryly (if that makes sense) and i can smell the aroma...just no smoke and nothing hitting the throat!

Steve from ecigs sent me a bud atomiser to try with the Ego riva and with a little help from him i have managed to stay off the fags for 4 days by using the bud successfully. however i cannot seem to be able to get anywhere near the same draw with the cartomiser which came with the kit. i can taste the vapour, there is no burning smell the cartomiser appears to be adequately filled....but Jeez i am not getting the draw!, no throat hit, very little smoke ..virtually...nothing...i pop the bud back on and bang - were hitting the right spot!....i feel as if my cheeks are going to cave in if i can't manage to use these cartomisers...i think i have watched every video posted on this forum on how to fill and use these but i am still struggling! Any help great fully received Hi Daisy, Have you tried the other atomizer that came in the kit? It could be a faulty atomizer. Steve. yes steve..i have tried another atomiser...i tried filling it with the condom method too ...but no nothing much coming out when i attach it..im going to pop another order in soon for some more of those bud things before it loses its suction...i just really wanted to be able to use up the other carts for emergencies...but i am struggling with it. |

right - so my kit arrived yesterday, i have had a better draw with using my cartomiser than the atomiser (dont know why??)
the ejuice i have from steve is the caramel tobacco...smells like stinky feet! but tastes ok.
question is - on side of ejuice bottle it says not to be inhaled as poisonous..so am i supposed to water it down or something??
and also when taking the occasional drag i am getting some juice into my mouth..(disgusting yuk!)
