Loving the new kit, but one of the two batteries just did something strange. I push the button, had a vape and the battery stayed on (along with the blue light). It stayed on for about 6 seconds and then the light flashed about ten times.
It kept on doing this.
I left it for a couple of minutes and it seems ok again now.
Any ideas?

I wonder if it was an auto cut out? Or it could be a faulty battery. Sorry, I'm not being very helpful am I ???

How is your other battery charging/performing in comparison? I have noticed with some new batteries the top connector pin is slightly too deep into the threaded unit and can sometimes be rectified with a simple firm tap upside down on the palm of your hand or work loose with a paper clip/cocktail stick (but only about 1mm as the pin has a wire connected underneath). Once worked loose on the 1st use they seem to work as normal so maybe worth a try.

Strange, the other battery did the same today as well. Gonna keep an eye on them both and see.

Ego & Riva batteries have a timed cut off if the button is depressed for too long this can range from 5 to 10 seconds. It's to stop the battery constantly dischaging if you accidently pressed it , say in your pocket, and burning out the carto and depleting the battery.
You could have had a "sticky" switch, one of my batteries does this and it is holding the connection on until the cut off kicks in. It is quite common, give the button a wipe with a damp cloth or baby wipe taking care not to get liquid in the switch and/or try pressing it a few times hard in short succession to free it up.

If you do think you've a duff battery Daisy, I'd contact your Supplier . . . they're spot on when it comes to exchanging/replacing faulty parts.

This is very strange, both of my batteries are doing it too, its only been today that its started doing it. ??? everything was okay and today both batteries have decided to flash and stop mid vape.
I've have noticed however that if I don't tighten the top part holding the cartridge too tight its ok, but tighten it up and the battery plays up, yo will have to excuse me if I haven't got the terminology correct ;p;
Wonder if its faulty battery or connections? I'd do what kev said to rectify, but I don't want to break it, which knowing me would definitely happen.

If it's vaping ok when you don't tighten it down Esme, then there's no point trying to raise the centre pin because that will just bring the problem back.

Just a quick update on this. Was in contact with Kev at Freedom Vape regarding the problematic batteries. He suggested that a clean of all the screw ends and the usb connector with scrunched dry paper towel may help. Tried his advice and now my Riva is working great Thanks Kev and sorry for being such a pain with all the emails yesterday
