...so there! When creating something so original as your own box mod you're bound to encounter some teething problems, as I painfully discovered! I glued the battery tray firmly in the tin, there was little clearance between the aforementioned tray and the firing switch so I glued the on/off switch to the tray with one of the poles soldered straight to the firing switches pole! with continued used the tin flexes ever so slightly but more than enough to break the solder between those two switches! Repairing that solder over and over again with an old-fashioned and oversized soldering iron led to both switches melt and fail! A little redesign later (thinking about the tin flexing and easier component replacement) and the little blue box is on again! Shall I vape now or vape later? I'll have a little vape while I think about it!

Looks cool mate, so the mosfet is basically a duel mech with a bit of safety? Thanks dude, the way this is wired the mosfet offsets the big amps to the 510 connector and lower power to the switches preventing them from melting! on my first build I didn't think about the rating of the firing switch and it melted, if you're gunna try your own build I suggest using this diagram or a similar one!

This is only my third box mod, all materials were sourced from eBay apart from the tin (cheers Jerry) and the 22mm 510 connector which was from cloud9vaping! There's 2 18650 batteries mounted in parallel and a mosfet to keep the power down on the firing switch and the on/off switch! I googled this wiring diagram and that's what I used but without the fuses (I'm either very dumb or brave)! and there she is and she is chucking the vapor!

I find for higher vg juices it's better to build a wider coil, there's more space for thicker juices to wick into the coil! "normal" coils for higher vg rates and micro coils for higher pg juices! at least this is what I observed in my own vaping experience!

since I've been lending my mechs to help people out I found myself without a good mod to use so I started creating my own mods, a couple of burn outs later and I achieved what I call 'rat mods'! this was the first fool proof one!
