Update: called into Mass Vapour but none of the lads were there that I'd recognise and be able to ask, but will be going on Saturday, which is the 'coiling and fix issues' day anyway, so all good and looking forward to learning more about coiling etc too. Amazing to have an actual vape cafe locally, and they're lovely there. Called into Maplins and the guy there suggested using solder, so, if the superglue doesn't work now, I'll see if there's a solderer at Mass Vapour on Saturday, lol. You never know! I don't mind having a go myself if there's a soldering iron there, just for fun. no no no no no no no no no no no please dont try to solder a pin to a snapped off screw body, your more likely to drop flux n solder down into the thread and solder the screw in place permanently...... You're right phatfil; I had wondered that, and thought it would take the steadiest hand and tiniest tools to be able to do that. Having got stubborn and tried to hammer it back through with the thinnest tool I could find, it is never going to budge I don't think, but then I'm not that strong ... plus the hole is now slightly 'altered' shall we say, from me doing that. Meh *raspberry*, lol. Like to solve things, and had thought it would be useful to post if I could sort it, but sometimes things don't fix. I'm all stubborned out now, plus grateful to be gifted one. Time to do other things, lol.

You know what kittyvape less than 6 months in to your vape journey and I'm just amazed at how well you are doing!!! and I know you'll get this sorted one way or the other. Superglue can be gotten from the poundshop if that's any help! Rest assured you'll be back in happy vape land soon! Thank you @johanino And big to you for 4 years of vaping!! Wowza, that's awesome. I'm at less than 3 months, but will not ever even touch a stinky again; anyone who throws one at me will get the ninja kitty chop Glad you mentioned the superglue again, as am going out in a couple of hours and forgot to put that on list! Chuffed to pieces that I'm on great devices, mixing juice, and can do a steady 0.5 coil and good non-leaking wick ... that's the foundation for greatness right there, lol haha.

The wee round ones on FT look identical to the stealth one at a third of the price. I'd imagine they are identical items. Had mine from FT for about 6 months and still going strong. They do have an internal battery so eps jet unlikely an option but you never know till you order. Yes, noticed that, grrr, but on this occasion was glad of fast delivery, but have bookmarked the next for early FT order, lol. Great yours is still going strong, plus buying cheaply from FT definitely makes reordering twice a year a lot easier to handle.

About 4 months. But they were single ohms testers not dual thingies. And battery powered. I didn't expect them to last long but I know I neeeeeeed one Not bad, plus I'd have thought the same, that they were temporary. These round usb ones should last longer, plus FT have some 550mAh ones for £12 that I've bookmarked for later down the line. rechargeable 550mAh Certainly easier to build using one of these, plus I've ordered a little butane lighter from Amazon, to heat the coil (carefully) while on the ohm reader ... Coney Large Tank Lighter With Flame Lock Windproof Lighter Electronic Refillable Jet Gas Turbo Just realised I forgot to message the seller re choice of colour, so it'll be a lucky bag, lol

My cheap square ones from ft are broken so I've ordered the cheap round one! How long did your FT square one last? The round ones are cool! Just get it quicker from stealthvape; looks to be same one FT are selling.

Thanks. Just had an order from Stealthvape so I will have a look. I like the idea of it being USB rechargeable. Yes, much better than spending on batteries. FT might offer epacket option, which is faster ... think they do it on certain products, so you don't know until during check out. Not sure.

If only one of the screws have snapped/stuck, you could always wrap your coil the other way and use trap it using the opposite screws I only use 2 screws in one of my kayfun v4's anyway as one of the screw holes is stripped Thanks pyr0 I too was only using 2 so far, so it's great I can use the other 2 for now and get some more single coil practice, before the tank arrives from Sarah. Just got an ohm reader today, as was planning to try some dual coils soon; great to use it, definitely better.

Sorry to hear that @spikeyfridge, it amazes me how much we rely on a thumb without actually realising it! I can grip things now but no real pressure, getting stronger every day though and doing the squash ball exercise. Hope yours gets better soon! Hope you're better soon too, prr!

I got right frustrated about my subtank coils recently then a couple of kind members helped me out. I could do the rba decks until yesterday. Seves me right taking the mickey out of prr ! I cut my thumb at work and am less than useless at the moment. I can feel your frustration ! Know what you mean, @spikeyfridge; I couldn't coil anything right for a while ... just managed the subtank mini today! Been a funny week, things just going wrong weirdly, same as you're saying; was coiling fine before. Sorry your thumb's cut; hope you're better soon, and thank you so much again!

That's very nice of you. I'm a Cornishman and it's the way most of us are helping is like a smile, costs nothing And you're a star! Thank you, and you're right ... help and smiles cost nothing and brighten everything.
