If you get no luck, send it down to me and I'll do it for you . No charge That's very kind indeed @tedster. Thank you very much, and, if I need to send it, I'll be finding something to give to you in return ... only nearly 3 months in, but have got some juices and bits and pieces; don't know if any of it will be suitable, but hope so; or can mix you some and UC it so it's fully steeped.

Superglue on the head of a pin, wait till it's tacky, then put on top of the broken screw, pliers twisty screw comes out Great idea @tedster. It's at times like these I realise I don't keep any normal stuff in the house, lol. Can buy some superglue tomorrow, maybe take it to the cafe ... certainly sounds like that could work.

Try a sharp point like a compass pin, sharp screw or probe and spray with WD40 might help. Thanks VapingBad Have tried (no WD40 in house), but it's absolutely welded in there; thinking it'll mean a new base, incase a miracle can be worked somehow. Will see if the lads at the cafe can do anything tomorrow. Yuk part is if they can't; what to then do about tank/stealthvape.

Anything is worth a try, is there enough thread left sticking out of the top you could grip with pliers. If piers don't work you could try carefully cutting a slot in the top of the snapped screw then use the blade you cut the slot with to twist it out. Be a bit fiddly though ! Great ideas, and have tried with a piece of wire. Nothing sticking out. Have got it in the UC now, to see if it might work it loose somehow afterwards, when I'll try with wire again. Ironically, stealthvape kindly had sent a sample of 32awg, but I think that'll just be too thin to do anything; worth a try. Entire screw part that came off, leaving a tiny stump on the screw-head. EDIT: UC didn't loosen it, just for ref.

If you have no idea how to get it out your best option might be to take it to the vape cafe cafe you frequent and see if anyone will try and help you out. I'm surprised the screw snapped before you chopped the coil leg in half though, maybe a faulty screw. Can't say ive ever had any duff gear from stealth although I suppose things like screws are difficult to check for quality control. Hope someone can sort it for you Thanks Greg Only been able to get to the cafe twice so far, and they were great; offered to help with allsorts. Remembered at dentist tomorrow, so will pop in. Was just incase anyone had any tips I could try right now. Maybe putting it in the UC would release the broken bit? Will try that now.

Hiya Just got first stealthvape order in the post, including knurled M1.6 screws for the kayfun 4 (tobeco), as I was struggling so much trying to keep one of the coil wires secure. Literally tried about 5 times to place the wire, hold screwdriver and wire firmly, and carefully turn the screw, then it just snapped ... stuck in the post. No idea how to get it out. Stealthvape clearly have a good name, so it was the last thing I expected to happen from my first order.

Yes, looks absolutely great to me. Can be a struggle at times, for sure, lol, but you learn more each time and it's really interesting. Well done!

the spare o-ring bag that came with a kayfun4 clone should contain a spare spring, if not one or more of the kayfun atty spares kits for sale @ fasttech have em, without the spring i doubt you would gat any ohm reading at all from a kayfun4 atty tho.. also i find it tricky with tweezers and thin wires not to collapse or double over a coil when pinching and heating pliers would be way worse for me to use, i find the £ wilco tweezers good for the job tho as long as you dont hold em too close to the jaws.. You gave me a great idea, to see if other tank screws fit ... discovered Kangertech ones too big for Kayfun post holes, but on high alert for any teeny screws in anything, lol. Defo spare spring, and have fitted it, but can't test it until I can fit the coil; look forward to testing it out once screws are fixed. Definitely seems a good idea to get screws with a better grip/head. Thanks for recommending ft and wilco. Certainly learning a lot about the Kayfun, and everything, lol. Love the Kayfun, how it fills, airflow, flavour, everything, so must persevere!
