look good..what are they ??? 3.7v box mods the small ones use a rechargable protected li-ion 14500 battery (around AA size but normal AA's won't work in them) the main reason for them is once you have the mod the batteries are cheaper than getting new eGo etc batteries and should last you a longer amount of time. The larger one uses 2 18650 protected batteries (lavatube size) also li-ion but for that longer vape 2 in parallel near enough doubles the Mah rating on the battery meaning i can take that one on a very long journey in the car and it still have battery power left over when i'm done ....And should it be needed there would be enough battery power in the mod to jump start the car! lol

but the size of those "Chunky/clunky" tubes is down to the size of the 18650 battery, this will be the same diameter as most tube mods ??? That's what I thought Its not the diameter I'm against but the length. I realise the 18650 is a long battery but my only experience of these devices is the LT, which is a lot longer than the battery itself (and is quite 'clunky') and what I really want is something that is only marginally bigger than the battery itself, or as small as it possibly can be. It seems that there's a lot more out there and the Argy looks good andthe one Des linked to too (So soon after the GB too) The body alone is less than £10: www.healthcabin.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1082_1124&products_id=7927Can i wait until the next GB? Des - any chance you could take another photo side by side with the LT please?

Raggy, Bear with me on this as I have an idea that is still forming as I write...... Just lately I have been so busy with work and family that I haven't had much time to research vaping devices because, like you, I feel I need something different. I currently use Riva's/eGo's, the eGo pass-through that Blakey linked, a diy'd dual 18650 mod and a Lavatube. I prefer the 18650 devices over the Riva's/eGo's, although the eGo pass-through is my preferred 'outdoor' device, as it's quite discreet and, if in a pub I can hold it in such a way that the majority of its length is under my sleeve and allows a proper stealth vape! The dual 18650 mod is amazing for me and is my preferred device when indoors. I use 1.7 Ohm cartos which give (for me) the perfect all round vape, and the best thing is that I can go 2 days easily (usually longer!) without changing the batteries. The downside is that it's impractical to take out of the house, either to work or the pub. The Lavatube, although a great piece of kit, is wasted on me as I will only be using the 1.7 Ohm cartos which don't really allow me to use the LT to its fullest. So, this has got me thinking that I need something that uses a 3.7v battery, which has a long enough battery life so I can use it whilst out and about, but which also looks good and isn't cumbersome. Which leads me on to the main point of me writing this......out of all the shinies on the market at the minute I am loving the GG devices and the Touchwood! I'm not sure the battery on the GGTB would last long enough as I prefer the duration of the 18650's (Is there an 18650 battery mod for the GGTB?) but it would be great for the pub runs. The Touchwood is in my opinion gorgeous! I really love them and aim to have one in my collection one day. Having said all that (eventually) the idea that is still forming in my head is this: If you wanted (no pressure at all) I could lend you my Lavatube for you to try and see if it's for you, for a week/a month/whatever? and at the same time I could borrow either your GGTB or Touchwood. There would be no commitment to buy after the agreed time, but it would give us both an ideal opportunity to 'try before we buy'. I have no idea if this would work, or if you would be interested, but thought I would mention it anyway. What do you think? hi giz and thanks for the input. great offer from you, but in the next week or so so im going to put the ggtb up for sale and i dare not lend out the touchwood as it was a xmas present, i mentioned selling it the other day and the glare i got was not great i am going to totally reconsider where im going to go next. i am starting to like the idea of VV and i would imagine the kick could be added to the touchwood so thats an option as well. i really need to start thinking again from scratch. thanks again for the offer. raggy......... Hi Raggy No problems what so ever! I totally understand where you're coming from. I think my problem is wanting something of quality but which has the endurance and kick an 18650 gives. I'm not saying the LT isn't quality, it definitely is for £35, and the things it does shouldn't be sniffed at, but I haven't had great experiences with SR cartos so will only use the 1.7's now and therefore won't use the LT, other than when I need to as backup. I like the look of the GGTB but don't know if I could live with the battery duration, or with having to buy yet more different batteries. Is there an 18650 extension tube for the GGTB that you know of? The Ego 18650 mod that I mentioned earlier may be a temporary solution? Until then I shall keep my eyes peeled for your ad

Think that's a great idea, and a nice offer.... So I thought I'd quote it incase it was missed first time If not, then I'm sorry Thanks Alvo As I say - I'm not sure it would work, but I'm not using my LT as much as I hoped I would and it sits in the cupboard most of the time. I did toy with the idea of selling it, but I won't recoup what I paid for it, and so would be great as a back up device. But then if I bought another device, then the LT would probably end up redundant? I don't know if I'd miss having a VV device so figured this would be the best way of not only testing something new, but also testing whether I could live without the LT? See what Raggy thinks, Although with my latest find (which may be old news to some?) I may have solved mine and Raggies quandary.(See thread 'Ego 18650 mod....'

As the title suggests...
...I have 2 stardusts which have developed fine cracks around the base and are now leaking! I'm pretty hacked off as its the best part of £10 down the swanny! The only fix I can think of is to tape them up, which I really don't want to do as it will look awful.
Does anyone sell just the bodies? I haven't seen any, but hopefully someone may have on their virtual travels???
