Not tried anti-H's. I have never suffered an allergy before - I thought anti-H's were primarily for hayfever sufferers only? If this is an allergic reaction to juice would an anti-H sort it out?
Didn't realise yours is so bad - at least it was tracked and sorted, and hey - there are so many juices out there I'm sure you'll find a replacement! (What juice was it)

I'm just beginning to wonder if a rash/blotches I have on my chest is an allergic reaction to juices? It came all of a sudden a few weeks ago after a night out, which I noticed the following morning. I wear a St Christopher and the rash appeared underneath where it sits. I initially thought I had suddenly(?) become allergic to gold, but I removed the chain and the rash remained.
I really can't place which juice would be the culprit as I've tried so many just lately, and like the majority of them?!?!
The rash isn't particularly bothering me - it itches occasionally, but I can put up with it.....if I left it would there be any long-term issues?

LT seems to be working fine nw... looks like the ultra fire battery was causing the problem, it shorted out the LT and then the regular batteries took a while to get everything working fine again... binned the ultra fire and dealer has kindly offered to send panny replacement and only charge the difference,,, so, in short, i don;t think there was any issue with the LT, just the battery.... enjoying it immensely now11 I firmly believe the Ultrafires were causing me much aggro , as when I bought IMR's from Moju the problems I had with 1.7Ohm carto's have been resolved.

Thanks Guys! I forgot I posted this Q. So far I've only used in my LT, which isn't getting much use at the mo so the batteries are lasting a good few days! I will give them a trial in my mod and see how much difference they make?

In fact - talking of 'proper' kits from the forum vendors, this is what I've recommended to a friend at work. (Woman in late 50's who would not 'faff' filling carto's etc) vapourhut.com/e-cigarette%20kit/vh-starterWith the 10% discount it seems much better value at <£18 and is a cig-a-like. I can't comment on the battery life but (I Think?) is better than the E-lite/comparables, but has great customer support as well!

510 carto's definitely do not fit. I started with the E-lites, and although they are heavily regarded here as near to useless, I disagree. Drag for drag, compared to smoking I was getting the claimed 40 Cigs worth out of each carto and the batteries lasted the full duration of the cartridge. HOWEVER, like most people here - I was soon vaping more often than I had smoked and before long I found the batteries weren't lasting me a day! This is when I made the move to the Ego/510 and gave the E-lite to my OH, who, after over 2 months she is still using and prefers them to the Ego/510. She smoked no more than 5 ciggies a day, only in the evening, and the batteries last upto a week between charges! Whatever you do - do not throw the used carto's away as they can be filled exactly how your Riva carto's are! I bought 2 E-lite E200 kits which came with 10 Carto's, and OH is still using the original ones, but filled with Vapology cappuccino. There has been no noticeable drop in their performance and they produce good flavour, throat hit and clouds of vapour! I can't knock them, other than the scandalous price, but if your friend already has them then as long as she doesn't mind refilling them then they should last her long enough to decide if it's for her or not, at the very least. I believe there are better cig-a-likes out there, but can't comment on anything other than the Sky cig, which a friend was given, and they compare well to the E-lites but have a portable battery charger in the shape of a cigarette packet. They still carry a scandalous price tag but have a 510 fitment. I wouldn't recommend the E-lite, or any cig-a-like, to anyone purely because of the price. The best value for 'proper' kits can only be found from the vendors that advertise and use this forum. Just my two-penneth worth

It's funny how peoples experiences vary. I love SR Boges at about 3.8-4.0 in a tank. I get a really satisfying vape. I try other things, but always end up going back to my Boges. I agree with Blakey about the LT, being able to get a consistent vape is what I like about it, I don't feel that I'm chasing the "Holy Grail", chopping and changing all the time. It is interesting to see such a large variety in peoples tastes, although I must remember to bear that in mind when I read reviews lol. I wasn't finding the consistency you mention with the LT, purely because of the button issue. Now it seems to be performing with the new batteries (With 1.7ohm carto's anyway) I'm not sure I notice any difference between this and the unregulated Ego/VV passthrough/mod? I intend to stick with these 1.7ohm carto's for the time being, so I actually wonder if I'm getting any real benefit from an LT, whether fully working or not? (Just think of all the mod bits I could buy with the cost of an LT???)

If your LT is malfunctioning Giz, you should get in touch with the supplier. I am sure they come with a one year warranty. lavatubeecig.com/ and click on Warranty tab. The VV passthrough is not regulated and works best for me with 2.0-2.2 ohm carts when set at 4.2 volts. Under roughly 2 amp load, the voltage stays at about 4.1 volts when the usb cable is connected but dips to 3.9 volts when it's being used as a battery. I don't really vape at any other setting. But as with these things, it's personal preference and the wide quality of carts. With higher resistances you normally get more surface area and more vapour which many people prefer and some don't. I never took to dual coils too and I found on cutting a dead one open that they are using lower diameter wire to make the dual coils thereby almost nullifying the benefit. May not be the case with other manufacturers but that's what I found in the Healthcabin ones. Thanks for the link Macca! My biggest worry about sending it back is whether there's a problem with the LT, or if it's the carto choice, or even the battery? I will contact the vendor and see what they think? I know if I send it back I will incur postage costs, which I would rather avoid as it will take the overall cost upward! The VV passthrough is my preferred device. The 1.7's are perfect at 3.7v, but for the times I want a stronger hit 4.2v is spot on, and when I require less strength the 3.2v is again, spot on! I really don't know if my Boge experience was a bad batch as I hold vapour volume and throat hit high on my 'needs to satisfy' list, alongside flavour. Flavour seemed to suffer the most and VapVol & TH were muted. I really haven't been impressed with DC's especially the HC ones. They were, quite frankly, pathetic. As I said earlier, I'm not sure if mine were a bad batch (along with the Boges and CE2's and.....lol) but I'm not sold on them. Good that you cut one open though - I'm saving mine to punch through syringe rubber for home made tanks!

I have now been vaping like a steam train with the LT (With new battery) since writing the above message and I still haven't had a cold draw! I am still using the 1.7ohm cartos (at 3.5 volts), and considering I put the battery in Friday evening and used it a couple of times on Saturday and quite a lot today, it's still showing 4volts! Much better than the supplied batteries! I am having a renewed love for the LT BUT whilst having problems I made a twin 18650 mod (parallel = 3.7v with twice the duration) and because I'm using the 1.7ohm cartos I find vaping with the mod excellent, and therefore renders the LT almost redundant. Quite gutted as I spent almost £50 on the LT and about £10 on the mod I think the point of the LT is the ability to vape at higher voltages with higher resistance carts thereby increasing the wattage ie., more vapour and flavour. If you are happy at 3.7 volt and 1.7 ohm carts, you can't beat a VV battery passthrough for price point, portability, looks, safety, ease of use including charging and performance like this one: vapourhut.com/batteries/900mah%20Variable%20Voltage%20USB%20Pass%20ThroughAlready have that, and it is pretty damn good! I bought the carto's in the last GB, as part of a 'tester' series as I don't like the SR Boges, and before they arrived and before I had chance to test them I bought the LT. All in the name of finding 'MY' preferred vaping instruments. I had the VV passthrough before ordering either the carto's or the LT and although I agree it's a good, cheap compromise to the LT (and other VV equipment), at the time I only had the SR Boges and other SR carto's in my collection and even at 4.2v I didn't find the experience 'great'. I couldn't understand what everyone 'raved' about if my own experience with the Boges was anything to go by, as it was very hit and miss. The good vapes were few and far between, so I began (with the GB) buying packs of carto's in order to try as many varieties as possible. In the interim I had read so many positive reviews about the LT that I decided it was the missing link to my vaping satisfaction with the Boges! I couldn't afford to wait for the GB to arrive, so in fear of going back to the nasties I bought the LT. My experience with the LT and Boges wasn't that great either. They performed better than with the Ego, but still I felt something was missing? It was probably the juice I had at the time, but anything above 4.5v resulted in a burnt vape. Anything below this and the vape wasn't satisfying. During this time the LT began playing up and I found myself using the Ego & VV more and more, until I barely used the LT. At this point the GB had arrived and I tried the CE2's and wasn't overly impressed. I also tried the HC XL DC's (2ohm) and was shocked DC's could be so rubbish (Suspect bad batch?). It was then that I tried the 1.7ohm carto's, which if I remember correctly, were the cheapest and they are absolutely outstanding! I feel I have now found the perfect vape with these carto's, and even older juice that was poor in the Boges, are now perfect! So, I now have an LT that is both not really necessary and not working properly, and which cost a lot in comparison to my other gear, and is finding its way into my 'wish I never bought it' pile. I would be reluctant to sell it as I won't recoup the amount I paid for it, but more importantly I couldn't sell it whilst I suspect it isn't functioning properly?! All that aside, I have had a couple of cold draws today, but using an SR carto, where every other press didn't operate!? It seems to work with the 1.7ohm cartos perfectly now, and the battery is still showing 3.8v remaining. Not bad for the use its had yesterday and today!

I've just bought these from Moju: www.mojurepublic.com/products/18650-High-Drain-Rechargeable-Batteries-%282%29.htmlI initially got them for use in my LT (which I know has protective circuitry against unprotected batteries etc) but I have a parallel 18650 mod which doesn't have any protective circuitry and I would like to use the new batteries but I'm not sure if 'safer chemistry' means they'll be okay in an unprotected circuit? Could someone in the know let me know please...... ....Thanks

Thanks for your reply Scylla. Did you not send your LT back for replacement? (If I read that right?). I don't like faff, and I would rather try and sort something out myself than messing around sending things back and bugging vendors etc. Especially if it turns out to be something easily fixed, like a new battery! I have now been vaping like a steam train with the LT (With new battery) since writing the above message and I still haven't had a cold draw! Tim, Giz and I ordered at the same time, he has issues (with his LT ) mine is fine ??? You know me too well Karma! Well I've been away for the weekend, but before I left home I received the batteries from Moju. Although I have gotten used to using the Riva/Ego instead of the LT, it hasn't given me any noticeable problems for the few times I've fired it up. And whilst writing this now I've power-vaped for a good minute or so and I didn't get one cold draw! Early days yet, and I can't believe a battery would give the 'cold draw' problems but I will try and remain optimistic! I shall update as and when I find anything out

Tx gizmo - I'd figured most of that out, just want to know what the thing in the first pic is. Is it just a voltmemter, or does it do amps and ohms. Is it programmable? Most important, what is it called, in case I want to buy one I know what you mean! I think (not sure) it just measures voltage and I think I have a link for it somewhere? I'll be back!

I'm so gonna enjoy it when the rest of my bits n bobs turn up loving these already Scuse my ignorance, but what is it? The box is a parallel 18650 box with enough space to get some serious components in. I imagine it will be VV, though unsure if it will be greater than 3.7v?, but will have the digi readout too. (Apologies Mark if any of this info is wrong) I have been looking forward to this mod! Even more so now that I've got the same box!!! Oh, and thanks also for the epoxy tip. Dependant on how yours looks when completed I may wish to add the digi display so may just hold off any permanent alterations for now
