Hi Whufc71 I don't want to hijack Fashashs thread (though I have to say this has to be the most off topic forum I've had the ultimate pleasure of being a member of ehe) and yeah, I did the same.. I probably..maybe.. shouldnt even be vaping as my lung collapsed ( was in hospital for a week) which is was forced my move to quit analogues, but I noticed I was paranoid all the time about it, so bought a bp monitor and an oxymeter etc.. so I can keep an eye on my own vitals etc. but the first time I used the bp monitor my mind got me into an anxious state so it course it went up lol.. doh!.. so I breathed, relaxed... and tried again and it was fine.. the only thing now is I'm addicted to checking everyone else blood pressure when they come round lol Martin Sorry to hear that about your lung mate But on a lighter note Friday night i know lads what to do tonight let's go round Martin's for a mini medical One of the blokes at work has one of those self testing cholestrol testing kits So he told me, everyone he showed it to said Go on then may as well have a check while i'm here Gone are the days of Trivial Pursuits and Pictionary  Without hijacking this thread more Where did you get the kit from? Love this forum everyone's so friendly and i missed the banter when i was away testing  yeah, it was freaky and scary.. but it's strange how life is.. I mean if that hadn't happened, I would still be smoking analogues, probably never encoutered ecigs etc, and never met all the amazing folk here etc, (probably wouldn't of spent in excess of £200 on ecig stuf too but thats a different thread lol).. but in a way it had a positive outcome, apart from constant worrying about it, though that gets less as time passes.. and yeah, you can all come round to mine:) we will have a ball!.. and we can even have competitions to see who has the lowest bp and highest oxygen saturations levels.. ahh.. now that's a party lol.. I got it from my local chemist.. its made by Kintetik.. but I think boots, llloyds, Asda and Argos both sell all the various kit etc, the oxymeter I got off ebay. |

There is already a lot of sound and great advice here, but I wanted to add my 2p too..
I have a home BP monitor which I got from the chemist for £10 and I've never noticed my bp go up at all with vaping, having said that I don't suffer with high BP..
Maybe your doc just doesnt know enough about ecigs etc, so it would be outside his comfort zone so to speak to really consider, may be worth talking with again next time you see him, and also I would of thought even with high bp smoking would still be worse than vaping.
I was worried about not being able to quite with vaping as when I first started I deliberately ordered a lower nic strength (not knowing the true strength of juices etc at the time) but I found it still did the trick and I was still able to quit, even with a lower strength than what I was probably getting with analogues, because my body was still getting its nicotene hit.. soo.. obviously without overiding any medical advice.. just wanted to add my experience.. Hopefully, and It seems you probably will be able to, keep vaping as opposed to smoking..

Do you find it tastes great, but then all of a sudden it tastes strange... like a burnt taste, but even though there is still quite a bit of juice in there...

I totally agree you Maccafan,
I got my SD today from VE.. and I thought I could smell cigs... and thought what's that .. sniffed it out it was the carts that came with it.. got to be the nicest virginia I've tasted by far.. be great to know if we could that as a juice it's spot on..

the old ones off my skycig, and I have 5 boge LR ones which havnt been exhausted fully I dont think but need a good clean, I had so many different juices in there they all kinda taste strange.

Thanks Gordy & Des! I don't quite have the lung capacity to blow as hard as most people probably do lol.. I know there is already a thread (probably a few) on cleaning them etc.. so will check those out too.. hmm, may be worth investing in a steam gun then.
It's just I noticed the cans there and thought.. hmm
