Thanks Karma, I am supporting 3 charities and doing 3 10k's over the Summer. St Columba's Hospice, Edinburgh , as a friend died there last Summer , Stroke Association because my Granny had two the second killing her ,(too be fair the first one was more devastating as by last December she'd been ready to die for a couple of years) and on a happier note a local playgroup that Supports pre-school children with special needs as my Cousins twins have Autism and were given a lot of support by this play group.

Yeah I will make sure they are broken in wearing them now, when I started running I really thought it was just a whim I was having that day never thought for ONE second I'd be entering a 10 k 8 weeks later so just bought cheap trainers , after running 10k in them as a practise on Monday I knew by the end of the run that buying new trainers this weekend although not recommended was the lesser of two evils ...
