No it is not a trustfire!!! ALL 3 of the trustfire's I have terminate charging at a safe 4.1 V... as does the Xtar WP2ii I have. The Vamo one I've got was terminating at 4.21V on the multimeter, 4.3V on the Vamo display for the first few days with a green light. Then it started the red/green flashing light thing at 4.2 ??? Yes the point I was making was that the ones shown in the pictures, sold with the vamo kit, are NOT trustfire chargers! They look nothing like the trustfires... They're not any known brand, and I wouldn't use them personally. The trustfire TR-001 has probably sold more units than any lithium charger out there, millions in use and very few problems. The biggest problem with the TR-001 is that, like anything that sells well, it has been copied, so there are fakes out there. You will find a holographic "Genuine Trustfire" sticker on the bottom of genuine TR-001's these days! I have an xtar and 3 trustfires, all work brilliantly, I'd have no problems recommending either of them, I would however also recommend caution as to where people buy them from, the trustfire has been copied, the xtar will follow suit, always buy a proven charger, from a trusted vendor, simple really. P.s I learnt the hard way, I had a cheap, nobrand charger go pop on me, so I opened it up to look inside, and what I found was horrific, through leaded component leads left untrimmed, components touching leads of other components, near solder bridges, etc etc. Never again!

I still use my LT too, for the heavy Aga-T etc. My connector on my Zmax seems fine, but I don't want to push it just yet, so my Aga-T is still sitting safely on top of my LT/Lambo 4.

Or if you prefer, you can hold the windows key and press either the left or right arrow key to make the window half sized and move it to one side.

If you're using windows 7, (and possibly vista, not sure) You can just grab the window by the bar at the top as if you are going to move it, and drag it out of the left side of the monitor, this will open it up as half the width of the screen, on the left hand side of the screen, you can do the same with a second window but drag it off the right of the screen and it will open up as half the screen on the right hand side, 2 windows, side by side, each occupying exactly half of your monitor... Much easier than I make it sound... off to see if I can find a video!

I agree Alvo We can't really comment on how long they will last as they are to new, but for out of the box performance comparisons I think is ok. And vamo still wins for me Of to blops now Yes the zmax is great for me too (same electronics I think) I love it, hits like a train, solid build, shorter than my LT, VW VV, and is rather good looking (despite dildo lines lol) But I wouldn't like to claim it was superior to a proven device as it's new, and for the most part untested. As you said though, out of the box, it's fantastic, I'll be getting a vamo based on how much I like the Zmax, and them being similar. I'll be on Black Ops 2 very soon, just gotta eat first

I dont think this is a fair comparison, I don't own a provari tbh. But I just wonder how people would feel if, for example, all our Zmax's and Vamo's chips started burning out in the coming month or 2??? Having said that, aren't the components of the provari made in China? And assembled in America? I suppose this proves that they have the capability to manufacture the quality components. Still don't think its a fair comparison at all, needs more time... Let it steep

Haha... NONE of us have bottomless pockets... Still can't get very much for free though The cheapest way to buy things is to keep your eyes on the group buys / Co-Op sections of the forum. But there are some good deals to be had from UK vendors as well, and you should try to support them as much as possible, You will NEED them!

The Co-op runs a split pricing system. The biggest branches are the cheapest and the smallest the dearest. Any special offers are scaled to reflect their locations and and so what may be 20% off in their biggest stores, will, by the time you get out to their country stores, be only about 5% off. However, in really far flung Co-ops in really rural areas, like on the Outer Hebrides, there they are allowed to sell local produce as well as the Co-ops own brands and here they are exceptionally good shops and both the quality and the pricing is top class. My local one is a large, inner city store, located in an economically challenged area. The own brand items are anything up to double the price of the asda equivalent, and probably produced at the same place. I have to admit though, I only usually buy Warburtons or Hovis bread, but the Co-Op's own brand is the only own brand I've found that I actually like.

I wouldn't mind paying Co-Op's prices if their food was good quality, but it's not, their fresh produce is nothing short of scandalous considering the price, and lack of quality. At least in my local it is anyway.

Not sure I'd trust them tbh, I cant see how they'd help, and that video doesn't clear it up for me, I've seen lots of these videos of batteries being deliberately over charged, in some there is a lot of flame, in some a lot of gas and little flame, so it's less than conclusive as to whether the bag did anything at all. My doubts come from the amount of flammable gas released after over charging a battery, that gas has to go somewhere, and it clearly isn't staying in the bag, unless it's airtight, in which case it's creating a recipe for explosion. The one advantage I can see is that if the battery does explode during venting, it reduces the risk of damage to persons or property from projectiles, parts of the battery or charger flying around.
By all means, if it makes you feel better, get one, but please still take all the necessary measures to make sure you DO NOT overcharge your batteries.

At first I could not get the new post to work because it was too short. I turned around and now it does up. The threads looked the same on each end which is strange. I tried this, fully expecting it to make no difference at all, but for some reason it does. ??? The top of the centre post doesn't sit flush to the underside of the top cap, as it doesn't screw on fully, but it does screw on, and seems secure. Thanks Steve

I posted these in the delivery confirmation thread, then realised they were best placed here...
"Unfortunately the centre post doesn't fit, it's too short... a few MM's shorter than the old one, means it doesn't screw into the top section, I can get it to hold with the tiny nut on the positive pin, but it isn't very secure and I wouldn't trust the seal."
"I tried unscrewing the centre pole from the bottom cap a little to give it more length, which allowed me to screw on the top cap, but now you can visibly see a gap at the bottom, so I am again, unsure of the seal.
Wonder why they machined these shorter???"
Any ideas? Anyone else found the same thing?
