Just another thing I forgot to mention..They are doing their best to ship it by end of next week.. It's going to produced, so if Gordy can tell me what the ideal position of the airhole on the top cap for this kind of device is, I can request them to try and line it up accordingly. No guarantees but I can make the request. depending on wick and coil arrangement but i guess most will use a single coil with a straight or a U wick Attachments:

The wick hole looks a little too far towards the sides to me? Like to know what more experienced people think.

Just hoping they don't take the piccie too literal and put another hole in the top piece.... I've seen the movie "lost in translation" too.

I dont understand what you guys mean about an airhole. Surely with it being held there by O-ring, instead of screwed on, why the worry about where the hole is? Or am I missing something?

Brian I know what you mean, but if you look at the pics in post #3 of macca's original post it looks like the top section screws onto the atty head

Yep, directly inline with the wick and centre post unless you are using u-wicks

The airhole should be directly in front of the wick, not to the side. That's what I found suits me best on the single wick. But with this having a two wick capability I wasn't sure.

Still needs to be in front of the wick going through the hole with the coil on macca. I'll try and find a pic.

Not wanting to sound like I'm teaching anyone to suck eggs here but don't forget the height as well, air hole in front of the wick is not the only consideration! But I would hope that the makers know enough where to put an air hole

As long as it's not in front of the base it'll be fine

Good point. You can make out the airhole in this picture.. Looks to be a touch small but people have their preferences..May be slightly high too..Might have been better hidden in the top of the three design reliefs do you think? A bit of resin/metal epoxy in the existing hole and a cobalt drill bit should sort it..

Might not be too bad macca as the base is quite thick. The hole's probably better being small as it's easier to ream out than it is to fill it in. Paid perps.
