I can't recommend these any more highly www.pcspecialist.co.uk/laptop-computers/ you can configure the parts you want yourself and there's plenty of options. I have the Enigma but I chose the higher end parts plus a 2nd hard drive so it was £700 ish, their CS is second to none too. If you need any help configuring just ask. Have a look at these specs I put together thinking of your budget and requirements. Chassis & Display Genesis IV: 15.6" Matte HD LED 16:9 Widescreen (1366x768) Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™i5 Dual Core Mobile Processor i5-3210M (2.50GHz) 3MB Memory (RAM) 4GB SAMSUNG 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY (1 x 4GB) Graphics Card NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 635M - 1GB DDR3 Video RAM - DirectX® 11 Memory - Hard Disk 120GB KINGSTON V+200 SSD, SATA 6 Gb (535MB/R, 460MB/W) DVD/BLU-RAY Drive 8x SATA DVD±R/RW/Dual Layer (+ 24x CD-RW) Memory Card Reader Internal 9 in 1 Card Reader (MMC/RSMMC/SD: Mini, XC & HC/MS: Pro & Duo) Sound Card Intel 2 Channel High Definition Audio + MIC/Headphone Jack Bluetooth & Wireless GIGABIT LAN & WIRELESS INTEL® N135 802.11N (150Mbps) + BLUETOOTH USB Options 2 x USB 3.0 PORTS + 1 x USB 2.0 PORT AS STANDARD Battery Genesis Series 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery (48.84WH) Power Lead & Adaptor 1 x UK Power Lead & 65W AC Adaptor Operating System NO OPERATING SYSTEM REQUIRED Office Software NO OFFICE SOFTWARE Anti-Virus NO ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE Keyboard Language INTEGRATED UK KEYBOARD WITH NUMBER PAD Notebook Mouse INTEGRATED 2 BUTTON TOUCHPAD MOUSE Webcam INTEGRATED 1.3 MEGAPIXEL WEBCAM Warranty 3 Year Standard Warranty (1 Month Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour) Insurance 1 Month Free Laptop Insurance inc. Unique URL to re-configure: www.pcspecialist.co.uk/quotes/genesisIV/mgZDth7rUA/What he said, although personally I'd spend the extra £88 ish and get the core i7 quad 3630, and the 8gig of ram option. And you'll have no trouble running BF3 on medium/high settings, with a really good frame rate, on a quad i7, 8gig, Gt 635M combination... Actually she'll have no trouble running any games she wants to run for the foreseeable future. A decent cooling pad might be wise though

It says its compatible with 7 and xp, I even ran it in compatibility mode, as an administrator, but it doesn't load up. No problem though, it will probably work eventually, and if not I will find a way, but there's no real need until I have one, was just being nosey. BTW if you want a play you can download the MVR software here... www.joyetech.com/support/vapor.php

The software I downloaded was a .exe, installed a new program, and created links to it on my desktop and start menu, but it doesn't load up. I think you possibly downloaded the firmware for the product itself rather than the My Vapour Record software.
If you look at the stainless mod linked above, it shows that somebody is already making and supplying flat tops.

The penelope looks and works great on the 1300 spinner But for how long All I seem to read across the forums is dying spinners. I wish that when people copy a good design - they use parts of equal quality- the twist is a superb vv battery....... The spinner COULD have been so good Like the cup, but F U EL, Did she mess up your cocomel order or something?

hey frogster thanks for the offer of help kind sir, another member has offered to send me a sample, and I feel I would be taking advantage of the generosity of this wonderful community if I take up more than one offer. BTW the AC was one of the places I checked for a VC juice. Thanks again for the offer to help, it was very kind of you.

Whilst it is an attractive item I think the whole 'attach to your computer' thing is both a gimmick and somewhat ridiculous. It's just selling you something you don't need to justify stupid high prices. It wouldn't surprise me if all the work has gone into the pointless computer software and it vapes like an eGo twist with some shiny buttons. Thanks, but no thanks. Keep it simple and concentrate on making products that work and don't leak or breakdown etc. It's much cheaper than some mods out there, mods which have the same features, only less of them, and some mods which have nothing but a few bits of polished and tooled tubing. If this works how it is supposed to work, it will be an absolute bargain at that price IMO, and I'm supposed to be the tight one!

That is ridiculously good looking, I like it, I like it a lot. provari contender Alvo ??? Don't think so queenie, think I'm set now, I really just want to see what all the fuss is about, because most of the ecigs/mods I have tried have been brilliant, yet the provari is supposed to be so much better.... I have to try it I think it is much better looking than the provari, and if they work, it has better features, so it's going to have to be my 1 year off the nasties treat I think, unless something else comes along before then... in short, I'VE GOT TO have both :/ lol

I had thought of that Sandra, but I wondered if there was another vendor out there, as I can only do BTs or pay on card.
I agree, I hope poor Pixie is better soon, hope my post didn't come across as unsympathetic.

Noooo... Don't panic mods, not another GVC thread.
I want to try a nice capella vanilla custard, I was trying to order some GVC, but he only accepts paypal, which I can't do, and he won't give out his bank details for a BT, fair enough. So off I go to Pixies to order some off here, nope, she's closed indefinitely due to illness... Is there anyone else doing a really nice mix of this capella vanilla custard?
