I've had the money saved to buy a provari for a while now, and with the prices down at the minute, its probably a good time to buy one, but one small detail keeps on putting me off. Is it possible to get the full size provari V2, in the same design as the mini? I mean with the pits/dimples as grips rather than the ugly dildo lines? I would absolutely have to have the option of using an 18650 battery, but I much prefer the look of the mini (nothing to do with size, just the grips!) I know kir has made an 18650 extension for the mini, but tbh, it turns the provari from a looker, into quite possibly the ugliest PV I've ever seen, sorry kir Is there a solution?

I have just bought the Provari mini V2 with the extension. (Provaris, not the Kir one). This one uses the 18490 battery and I have two of these but I have ordered a third. One battery lasts me from 7am until 6pm on average. Oh, and it has the pits and dimples. www.vapeescape.co.uk/provari-mini-v2~435

Thank you for the replies, I guess its a no then it's not just the vape time, although that is a big factor, it's also that I'm a tight sod. an 18650 will last longer than a smaller battery in terms of product life under comparable usage, as the life of a battery is measured in cycles (how many times it is recharged) and you're obviously going to be recharging a smaller battery more often. And therefore replacing it more often. Not only that, but I also have a reasonable collection of different 18650's, so wouldn't need to buy any more batteries for the time being. (Although I need to buy some panny 18650 flat tops for the zmax, but that's another story.) I wish they'd just made the full size provari look like the mini, but bigger... the mini is far better looking, or am I just being petty? for £150ish I don't think I am, but maybe others think I am, lol.

Yeh I'm wondering if I should stop being petty and tight as the 18490 is 1100mah which is respectable tbh. and they're cheaper than 18650's to buy in the first place. It's just that it is a very big spend for me, and not a decision I'm going to make lightly, if that makes sense (it's already been on my mind for months lol)

It's not petty, it's weighing up what is right for you. Tbh I hate spending on batteries coz I cant apprciate or see them inside my mods I was so pleased when StiG suggested I buy Torchy batteries for the Juno coz they are half the price of others and come with a plastic protection box

Torchy's good isn't he? Are those 18350s protected that you got Sandra? Could do with some protected ones

The 18490's last a reasonable time Alvo, not as long as the 18650's obviously, but not bad if you don't cane the voltage . . . if you got 3 as Lobey has, you'd be pretty well sorted. I also prefer the teardrop design on the Mini, it's more pleasing somehow.

I'll use an 18350 if I'm going out for a bit, but daily has to be an 18490. Have to recharge the little ones too often, whereas the biggy will last me pretty much all day.

Well i got the full size one and prefer the Plimsol lines, as opposed to alvo's dildo lines
