Ah, my charger has just done the same with my other working battery, also from LT - the red light stays on at the end. Guess it's time to try a new charger.. well the chargers don't last long especially if your using a power outlet that doesn't have a surge protector in it, I've had over 20 phone chargers in the last 5 years (because kids never listen) where before they would last for years but now our supply varies so much depending on the time of day they die faster than they should do through normal use, the cheap stuff made in china is often designed around the EU standard of 220 +/- 10% but here in the UK we still have variable supply of 220>240 +/- 10% those extra 20v stress the components particularly when the mains is surging, locally (might not be the same everywhere) we suffer power fluctuations as low as 200v and as high as 255v most days between 1630 and 1830 (as the majority of people get home and switch on their consumer appliances and start cooking) it even makes the UPS bleep for several minutes every day (because my PC cost way to much to let the mains supply surges take it out again) of course that's also why we get dimmer lights and the kettle takes 2+ minutes to boil instead of around 30seconds although nowhere near as bad with LED lights as it was under the old incandescent ones

aaront903get a mini thread extractor set that goes down to 0.5mm, line the drill up on the centre of the problem bolt and drill in about 1mm depth then use the thread extractor to unscrew it, something along the lines of this should fit the bill, the smallest one would in theory be able to bite into the 0.5mm hole and then unscrew the damaged head, or if you have the thread extractor but not the drill bit slot it into a rathet screwdriver and flick the ratchet to reverse to screw it into the screw head, as it screws into the head it unscrews the bolt in question your only other option is to use a vice + drill and drill out the damaged bolt but that's a more delicate and potentially damaging operation particularly if the drill doesn't go in perfectly and you end up needing a helicoil kit to repair the damaged thread .... no idea if it will work but its a long shot without seeing the problem and having the tools to hand /

under the TPD energy or booze flavours are supposed to be banned ... really. just had a look and you could well be right as NRG is not on there any more. so as they are also banning menthol cigs why are they not banning menthol juice then. iirc they are banning menthol flavours and plans are in the pipeline (Apr 2016 EU amendment to tpd) to ban most sweet flavours for e-juice as well as to specify the exact size /shape of refill containers and to produce a tech standard for tank refill mechanisms or cartridge based systems.... loads of stuff that's on the market this year will be gone in 12 months as the APR 2016 release is a 12 mth mandatory document not a new legislation document so there will be zero delays or opt outs from it available either .... lets hope we vote out as a country especially since its now evident from several studies (3 yr /2yr/1yr/6mth/3mth duration type) that are being refused publication in many scientific journals are showing the evidence far from harming various lung conditions vaping actually improves helath and minimises severity of chest infection and reverses harms caused by pollution &/ smoking (but the antz are blocking their publication, and have had several former studies about pg /vg use in inhaled medical products redacted from publications in some cases produced several decades ago so they cane be checked via search systems....) apparently the science about slightly warming pg with a flavour as a vapour delivery system to aid uptake has been known and fully understood for more than 40 years, but has been phased out in most places due to running costs.....

it rather depends what the item was I bought a tv off them 8 years ago and its still working just fine, otoh I got a mobile phone for one of the brats and the "minor imperfection" turned out to be a 17mm crack along one side of the screen .... the last one went back the following day (picked up FOC by amazon logistics) but all is not lost, I by a lot of stuff from amazon and plenty of things like my keyboard came from a warehouse deal saved £95 because it had a scuff mark on the underside (ok its a monstrously overpriced keyboard) and ive bought dozens of small tech type items from them with similar imperfections like the g502 proteus core mouse for less than half price because the packaging was damaged (actually I got a couple of them cos of the price as spares since mice break so often), had more duff items come from the full price sales than I have from the warehouse deals .... oh & my OH reckons I spend to much money buying stuff online, apparently clocking in an average of 1/3rd of my income is too much

yeah we had a local strike here, the fellas that did the collections from post boxes and sub offices went on strike, the delivery guys worked as normal, after 4 days you couldn't get anything else into the post box and the sub office was refusing to take any more mail in, then the DO went on strike for 2 days so even though the mail was being collected nothing was getting delivered or sorted ... the only reason anyone found out about this mini strike was the local rag missed its deadline for submission and failed to be printed for a couple of days.... its utterly stupid that local strikes can be called within sub departments of a nation wide company by a national union....
its like the 70's all over again with mini strikes being declared every 5 minutes, my fav has to be the RM union workers at the customs centre near Gatwick, went on strike for 2 weeks then took 3 weeks to catch up with all the stuff piled in their in tray .....

calnorth after labour took over in the 90's the transmitter network was sold off to some French firm, the BBC went from making money transmitting other channels to spending a lot more on transmitting their own, even worse they were forced as part of the sale to agree a 25 year deal to using the system, iirc the company that owns the transmitting network has changed hands a few times since but its still foreign owned and as part of the deal we as a nation lost the emergency broadcast system option as well, there was a big fuss in the papers a few years back because the company that runs the network had been illegally using the BBC's test card image on various channel numbers, in the ned it was about the BBC trying to claw back some of the millions it was wasting on terrestrial transmission costs... as to time filling, being prone to nights without sleep I often see them transfer to fox or news duing the night on the bbc, where we once provided 24 hours news via the world service (with impartiality) reporting on events fro maround the world were now stuck to hearing about some major atroicity or how the lastest manufactured celeb was caught in xyz compromise .... virtually zero info on the world at large... we should really recapture that former glory, people all over the world watched the BBC news because it was better than anything nelse on offer, now we are limited to crappy yank channels about the latest faux pas of some non entity for the most part, where was the coverage of the riots in india where are the coverage of the protest marches across Europe or the weekly /monthly reports on how various disaster zones are doing in recovery ? I saw a report on katmandu last week for the first time in a year, the same people still stuck in tents in the harshest weather because zero news coverage means near zero aid efforts to help them..... go back a few years and we would of seen the area cleared of rubble and largely rebuilt thanks to aid from the rest of the world, but now there left in stricken with little more than free blanket .... stupid thing is everything about our news for the last year has been EU/Us centric and 90% of it has been lies or spin totally ignoring the plight of the rest of the world, and since the BBC created that vacuum in reporting nobody else has taken up the mantle all because the EU determined we had to cut all ties with the commonwealth and that included the BBC no longer being able ot operate overseas broadcasting systems or BT global services owning and operating more than 50% of the worlds undersea cable network and limited landline services to all the third world governments (that's why flagtel was created to take over those networks and French German or Us companies now run most of the worlds communications) will we ever recover from the harm done to our national enterprises or regain our place as the premier trade and innovation outpost of the world I have no idea but if we don't leave the EU were certainly going to loose everything that we have left /

calnorthindeed your right the BBC was neutered to the point of near irrelevance through the shackles imposed by the EU, the latest round of funding cuts will make them vulnerable to take over by one of the big EU companies (like the German state propaganda one....) far from slimming down its funding and forcing it to shrink in size it should be getting the licence fee reduced and allowed to expand its commercial ventures, already its spun off half the production teams as separate companies which make fantastic products that then sell them to competitors ..... the digital age has changed so much and were the EU gone then their stupid rules would be out the window and the country could have a decent broadcaster working with a state phone company and state power company to ensure that we all had access to decent internet speeds without the tv masts yet still receiving the same tv service .... the BBC needs the increase In the licence fee to cover the cost of paying the fees to transmit the tv signals, since they were forced under EU rules to privatise all the transmitters and masts and now pay someone else to provide that part of the job..... if only the country can wake up and smell the coffee in a few short weeks we can start undoing the last 4 decades of harm to public services, who knows we might even see a hughe reduction in the cost of running things like the NHS if we stop selling PFI certs to EU and US companies to build our hospitals at double the cost year on year ..... but that would likely require some people with brains that don't care about getting re elected ot make the difficult choices ..... 20 years ago the BBC was the crown jewel of the world media today its an anachronistic dinosaur but not because it was unwilling to move with the times but that it was forced ot move in several directions that were bad for it coupled with politically appointed leaders who implemented daft policies based around the goals of ever closer union.... the Nazis failed to make Europe speak german but merkle and the stooges she has parachuted into the top spots in the EU will see it happen in the next decade

calnorthI disagree about needing to get rid of the BBC, I might not like paying the tv licence but every other country I have lived in has had a tv licence (normally as part of local taxes), the BBC has lost its way somewhat but that s only to be expected given the number of whooly minded liberals and over promoted idiots that fit the employment quotas..... it needs streamlining and far from getting rid of needs less red tape, sure the licence fee could be split across the 3 broadcasters (given that only channel 5 and itv are not at least 50% owned by the BBC) it should remain advert free (because I frigging hate adverts in the middle of programs) its not without its faults and those should be identified and fixed but its also a very necessary company, the iplayer system should require either a tv licence code attached to a login or a fee to access it, and that would generate a lot more cash, the news teams should give less slanting towards left field bollix than they do but that's no different to other "news" broadcasters, they all have their faults and the majority seem hell bent on being useless. we lost the majority of the met office and with it the ability to accurately predict the weather (now everything relies on computer models that just don't work) if we loose the BBC who will be around to bail out the broadcasters that are going belly up ? the government cant bail out any commercial company directly (EU rules) so without the bbc we as a country loose out on variety and choice, its bad enough that if central funding is yanked the BBC will need to sell its stake in every other channel (if it sells its 45% stake in itv the 60% stake in channel 4 and all the other various channels we as a nation would be down to 3 channels and 2 of them would be bbc, lets not go back to the bad days of 2 broadcasters one of which isn't even british)

well I flicked through the web page and have to say it kinda bears out the arguments against 99% of the junk climate science rather a lot, but then when you read official government department stuff its pretty easy to see they lie a lot, on one hand were told methane is an ozone killer and dangerous to human health for sentient life and emissions must be reduced or controlled (same for CO2) to far lower levels than ever before and on the other hand you have environmental department reports telling you that bubbling in lakes or rivers of methane near fracking wells presents a zero risk to both people and the environment .....
and the entire time the BBC has taken the nutters stance proclaiming the coming weather apocalypse which has failed to materialise for the last 20 years yet they keep on spouting the same garbage, they have been accused of gagging several presenters on various issues from climate junk to the EU and continuing the bias ad infinitum
but as you say its unlikely there is going to be much traction on this in the mainstream media if it get mentioned at all it will be to belittle the signatories.

nottmlad don't bin the sub tank, I started on a mini nauti and if your interested I can send you one with a few pre made coils (pm your addy) I found I couldn't do the huge draw for the first few months that a sub tank requires but as my lungs improved it was much easier to transition to them, that and I kept over sucking the coils on the mini nauti and breaking them trying to inhale more than they could allow air through.... anyhow it will fit on the evil mini fine and dandy, just don't carry spare batteries around without putting them in a protective package like this link or this linkboth sorts can be had on the cheap from lots of places
