as is obvious from the other post i have going at the moment i am a little impetuous and want to get up to speed with things as quickly as possible... then i can start enjoying them properly.
maybe i get the kit all started, understand the juices i like, and then get into the mixing... i think the mixing is going to take a bit more practice, but hey, thats where the fun it. by end of april i'll have the perfect cohiba sorted!

my understanding is that the provari v2 due soon is immensely more expensive than the other options... any idea on uk price???
i'll be back shortly for an in-depth description of what exactly i am going to need.. seems like this is not a 1 piece kit that you just screw your juice into... thx so far for all the confusing advice...

so general consensus is that the LT is pretty much the mutts nuts... but Gorky is saying Provari, which is is essentially twice the price for the v1 and multiples of that for the v2 when available in the UK... sorry for the silly q's but why such a price difference, is it partly due to brand name???
presumably i just then need to get some tanks and i am good to go with one of these bad boys?????
and batteries, how do i work out how to max the quality on what i buy?

so, are we generally saying the prover is just a bit of a waste of cash and stick with the infinitely cheaper LT?

Firstly - no smutt, these are serious questions Firstly, got the SD Keyring for my wife which she likes the look and does not appear to be afraid to use in public. she does however keep using my Riva1100 at home instead because it 'kicks out; more and has more of a punch..... anyone think of anything that might work as a compromise, something she can happily use while out and about that has a bit more 'bite' than the SD Keyring. And secondly, i'm one of those people that goes headfirst into things full on to make sure i get all the things i need, understand terminology, products best usage etc. before i can begin to enjoy a hobby properly... Whilst the Riva is great for taking out ( and using at home to be be fair ) I will not be happy until i have 'the beast' for my evenings in front of the TV. have heard mention of the provari and lava tube... any thoughts on these, are they the 'thing to have' or any better/alternative solutions ( UK Suppliers who stock also ) will it be a worthwhile investment over what i currently have, the one thing i know is they are not cheap? so when i've happily convinced myself i've covered the two points above, i am finally good to go.... a nd then its on to all the other stuff

right, following perps advice i added 1ml VG, 3ml storm and a few drops of the RY4 flavour to an empty bottle... think i may have overdone the flavouring as it was a bit sickly so diluted down with a bit more of the HS Storm. and may do do again this morning, see if it works out right..
Incidentally, in my local Boots, the product they had was Glycerin B.P (Glycerol)... is this the right stuff? at least if not it was only 99p and i am still alive ( evidently ).
Thx.

Hi Perp,
`so, based on my newly acquired bottle of VG ( using 3ml as you say ) and a few drops of the RY4, how much of the HS storm would you mix in with it for a usable liquid?????

well, funnily enough, i have an un-opened 30 bottle of HS storm and a bottle oF RY4 flavouring. maybe a trip to boots for some VG and some experimentation is in order.....
also bought some empty bottles just in case of emergency
any tips on the quantities of flavouring and VG to add to my concoction?
(URGGHH...red wine hangover, and carpet spillage to deal with this morning. not 'mr popular' with the ball and chain today
