Ok, firstly, most people will say why do you want to taint the taste of a good red with anything like a cigarette.. I am a bit of a wine-buff and enjoy a good red as often as my internal organs will allow.
you might say something with a hint of vanilla would compliment a rioja which i find typically vanilla heavy, but i don't like rioja... just to clear that up straightaway
And also, on saturday kitchen when they have the wine exerts prattle on about different notes of citrus or minerality in a wine to compliment one of the chef's dishes, again, i don't mean that.
essentially, i like good heavy lug of tobacco smoke with a glass of red wine. at the mo i am using HS Storm which seems to work pretty well, but wondering if anyone has any ideas.. ideally want something with maximum vapour output, i think the exhaled smoke is quite an important psychological bonus for me..
So, tobacco-centric heavy vape options would be most appreciated ( FYI Mom and Pop RYO does not float my boat, although i have a small bottle of their Praze on order, just to give them a second chance ).
Cheers fellow booze appreciators.....

I can appreciate the booze . . . but not the baccy flavours anymore I'm afraid James, so I'll leave a recommendation to the Vapers who do . . . although Griz's Black Cat seems to be getting very good feedback.

you got me wrong, its the Mrs that likes liquorice, i think it tastes like the devil's poo... although i do cook with a lot of tarragon and sometimes pernod in sauces, so go figure.
reading back through my previous threads Chrissie suggested low resistance boge's to increase the amount of vape, will this really make a difference???

Devil's Poo! Yes it will James . . . you'll get more oomph for your bucks with a Low Resistance anything, especially if you're vaping at 3.7v . . . and ultimately more satisfying as a result. I think.

No your Riva will be fine James . . . it runs a bit higher than an Ego I believe . . . but I'm all for getting a beast. You're going to ask for suggestions? Maybe a Lavatube if you fancy having a Variable Voltage device, then it won't matter especially ( with an exception ) what resistance carto's etc you put on it, as you'll be able to up the voltage for more oomph.

i am promising to wait for my new range rover delivery in april before anymore serious spending.. Vape Escape has cleaned me out for a whole bunch of bucks over the last couple of weeks...
to keep on topic, am finding Mom and Pop RY4 particularly pleasant with an old vine minnervois we have been enjoying as part of a dinner party this evening... incidentally, the vaping has provided a lot of interesting conversation, especially from smokers... and my wife loves her new sd keyring with black cat cart...!!!)
cheers James

So the question should be before answering the tobacco question what wines do you like, you mentioned not like Rioja but what are you into? Like tobacco there are so many to choose from. I can't answer what vapour to go for because I have only just invested in my ecig and bought several flavours so haven't had the chance to play with wine yet, but I will. My favourite is a nice St Emilion, can't wait to see what flavours will sit with a nice bottle of that

sg1 - this is my staple juice so far with red wine in general( bit storm not delight, got a big tub of both ). I find the HS Storm gives out a lot of smoke but i find it complimentary to the flavour ( just bought a 30 so i always have it on tap ).. but, good choice, i agree... thx. for your recommendation though, good to see we have the same tastes

Globalbloke (Tim) - well, i am a wine man full stop. (i will drink rioja but i find the vanilla undertones not so much to my taste )..... firstly, and fore mostly i am a left bank claret man, i don't like too much of a merlot blend although some of the margaux wines ( and St. Emilon ) fit happily with my taste... But east of the gironde give me a nice pomerol any day. I luuuurve my burgundy when i know its good, but strangely, don't feel the need to smoke so much with a good burgundy red. otherwise i enjoy new world shiraz when it is quality.... White, different story, can't stand any residual sugar in my wine, I love my white burgundy, the Loire Sauv Blancs and a good german/wachau resiling, gewurtztreminer or gruner veltliner as long as they are bone dry... having said that, most nights we have a glass of whatever is on offer at tesco

Interesting I did a review of this juice( Delight ) and commented that it was the closest to a real ciggie that i had tried And then the wheels fell off the wagon re e-juices Perhaps i need to re-visit this one even if it is with a antihistimine and a lower nic level

I think the exhalation helps to develop the flavour of the wine. obviously with straight cigs you are compromising this with the flavour but i think it sort of helps stimulate the olfactory system and improve the flavour of the wine... as long as you get it right...
as said in many threads, a Mom and Pop RY0 tastes like malted cats turds to me, but with a nice ale, it completely changes and actually compliments the beer..strange
