Firstly - no smutt, these are serious questions Firstly, got the SD Keyring for my wife which she likes the look and does not appear to be afraid to use in public. she does however keep using my Riva1100 at home instead because it 'kicks out; more and has more of a punch..... anyone think of anything that might work as a compromise, something she can happily use while out and about that has a bit more 'bite' than the SD Keyring. And secondly, i'm one of those people that goes headfirst into things full on to make sure i get all the things i need, understand terminology, products best usage etc. before i can begin to enjoy a hobby properly... Whilst the Riva is great for taking out ( and using at home to be be fair ) I will not be happy until i have 'the beast' for my evenings in front of the TV. have heard mention of the provari and lava tube... any thoughts on these, are they the 'thing to have' or any better/alternative solutions ( UK Suppliers who stock also ) will it be a worthwhile investment over what i currently have, the one thing i know is they are not cheap? so when i've happily convinced myself i've covered the two points above, i am finally good to go.... a nd then its on to all the other stuff

lol james i'd actually go for something like the pink riva for your wife. or if she really wants something smaller, a riva with the smaller 650mah batteries. she isn't really going to get the bite from any ciggie lookalikes as she wouldn't be able to use lr cartos with them. as karma says, though it could be worth looking at some of the mods for her. as for you. i've never tried the provari or lavatube as i'm just happy with my ggs. but others love both.

I seriously like my lavatube, I used to take out the riva 1100 and keep the LT at home, but now I'm taking it everywhere, as the riva just won't cut it anymore.

The LT is certainly worth considering as it gives you the opportunity to try things out at different voltages. In the end though it is the thing you stick on the end of it that makes the most difference. The Imist and the Vision eGo (Stardust) are well worth considering. If you really want to go for it though my personal favourite evening vape is the RDA - it is very easy to make the coil to whatever resistance you want and very hard to beat in terms of flavour and everything else. Here's mine on the LT, I think you will agree it certainly looks like a beast :

so, are we generally saying the prover is just a bit of a waste of cash and stick with the infinitely cheaper LT?

I wouldn't, even if I could afford it, buy a Povari! What's the point when the LT is a decent bit of kit! I'm very happy with mine, just need to get some better batteries than the ones that came with it! Not sure how confident I'd feel using it at work or out tho? That's more, I think that people expect you to use e-cigs to give up smoking, not start a vaping addiction and investing in hardware is saying that you are going to carry on doing this! Get the LT, then when your wife starts using it at home, you could upgrade to a Povari
