Also I am having to suck for ten seconds or so to get a decent vape at the minute (it's set at 4.0v) I haven't changed the coil in about 11 days though so it could be that maybe?

Hi all, sorry I haven't replied till now. My machine had started getting clogged up I thought it just needed a new coil, so I asked OH to get me some more from the healthier smoker shop which stocks them, they had none in stock however, so he has bought me a new tank I think? his words on the phone were "its a whole new top thing" lol for £12 So that's cool I can use that for now (I do actually have one spare coil but I don't like to be left with none) But just re-reading the thread and I am wondering if once that one gives up the ghost (the woman in the shop said that the tank itself has a seal of it's own, and if its leaking through the air holes at the bottom (which it has been) then its either the seal is gone on the air tank or it's gotten down the hole in the middle somehow) I realised I can probably use a different tank on the top? I see TJ has suggested 'Aspire Nautilus Mini', will this def fit on my battery? when I bought the machine it did come with an adaptor for another tank but I have lost this Thanks

HI rach1981 and a very warm and hearty AAE-C . If you didn't get it from TW, may I ask who the dealer was, then perhaps, we can give you better guidance on the tank and coils. H, I bought it from a shop called Healthier Smoker, I'm not sure if they are only in the north east though. this website also seems to have them but under a different name www.misteliquid.co.uk/e-cigarettes/New-user-e-cig-kits/eleaf-mini-istick-10w-kit.html#.Vi0iekqQGrV but upon looking at it now it seems to have a different coil and liquid tank, but the battery unit thingy (sorry I don't know the proper names lol) looks exactly the same, even had the same colour options when I bought mine it came with an adaptor to change the tank I think, but I can't seem to find it at the minute it's not in the box for some reason.

Hello & welcome rach1981 Afraid I can't agree with the woman in the shop telling you the coil will last 4 weeks- unless you are a light user. Plus there are many cheaper options to buying from Totally Wicked. Hi, I haven't used totally wicked, I just linked to them to show what machine I was using Can you tell me where the cheaper options are please? Also do all the coils come as a standard size? so can I buy any coils or do they have to be specific to my brand of machine? Thanks

Then based on those volts it's good for 8 to 20 watts. Thanks, so does that mean that I should be able to vape from either 3.5v-5.5v or from 8-20 watts and it won't burn out my coil?

This is the coil, I am also unsure if I am meant to put liquid in the hole at the top? Thanks

Hi everyone A little bit about me, I quit smoking on the 30th sept 2015, I had previously tried a few months back, and used a vivid vapour e-cig, I just used juice from the vivid brand that you can get in local shops, after about a week my throat was really sore and swollen and felt like it was closing up, I took to th Internet and read that some people are allergic to the PG which can cause issues, so I then switched to pure 100% VG which worked for a while, but then I think it was just too thick for my e-cig, I wasn't able to get a good puff on it and there was almost no vape cloud, and no throat hit and I just stopped using it and went back to tabs Then a few weeks ago my friend suggested the curve mini 2 e-cig which she uses, so I got myself one of those, the woman in the shop told me my coil (is that what it's called) would need changing every four weeks or so, she showed me the coil and told me to put a drop of liquid in each of its holes (which she did with the one I had just bought) so all was well for 22 days, loved my e-cig, I discovered if I turned it up to 4.5 volts (it goes from 3.3-5.5) I got a lovely warm, flavoursome hit with a nice amount of cloud (still using 100%VG) then on Thursday it burnt out, I quickly went to the shop and got some replacement coils. i put liquid in the holes like the woman originally said, then started vaping half an hour later, but again I had the burnt taste what did I do wrong? Yesterday it was really getting to me and after a google I wasn't sure if I was meant to put quite a lot of liquid in the holes? So I did that with the remaining new coil, and all is well at the minute but I'm vaping at 3.5 volts cos I am scared to turn it up to 4.5 in case I get the burn taste again? Also so I don't really understand the whole volts and wattage thjng? I can also change the wattage on the machine, it goes from 8-20 watts it's currently on 8 which is what it was on when I bought it? Im sorry if this isn't a clear post lol, I just need help in knowing how to change the coil and have it so I don't get immediate burn and help knowing what the settings mean on my machine thank you.
