Well, I only realised that you could turn it off 2 days ago :-[ I thought it was compulsory to keep it in your mouth vaping until the battery ran out? I only turn mine off when going to bed/going out, previous to this i was taking the battery out, lol :-[ LOL - I didn't even think to turn it off, so thanks, I can now do that if I need to!! Saying this I have had the same battery in there for about two days now, not turned off and been vaping away and it's still fine so either I'm not vaping enough or these batteries are ok!

It's a pity you didn't think of including one with your kit order, but it's always a case of "if only I knew then what I know now" It's a shame to pay P&P on a piffling item. I don't have the DCT 3.5ml, but doesn't it come with an aluminium drip-tip? That'll keep you going I have got that tank yes, and it did come with a tip but it's a plastic one and I just fancied an upgrade. I am pretty awful with buying things, I always go a bit OTT :-[

Ah ok, so I am getting a little carried away then? Thanks for the heads up about the size blakey and yes, looked at the "pawn" ones and they looked small but if the others are huge that'll be why Scylla thanks for the warning about sizes, I guess £5 is a load to waste if the darn thing doesn't fit. Think this is my personal way of saying to myself, I'm never smoking analogues again so I want to have all the kit, this doesn't always mean "go and buy every single thing you need immediately" does it? Maybe I should calm down for today and wait for my current purchases to arrive first and then see what I think I need next

Thank you very much, 510's it is! I'm on "another" spending spree, just got a LT 510 Ego Tank connector and a couple of those Vision Ego Clearomizers, next on the list is the Riva 1100... will this ever stop?

Hey Global, i hear what you're saying! I'm really enjoying using a tank at home, so handy especially first thing in the morning when I can do without faffing about, but would feel odd out and about with it! Likewise my LT hasn't left the house yet either. i did take it to a friend's house last week but chickened out and kept it in my pocket! Glad I'm not the only one, I took it with me in the car today and found myself snatching a quick pull on it when I didn't think anyone was looking....... And how on earth did you keep it in your pocket? You must have deeeeeeeep pockets and not sat down much

Really sorry about all the stupid questions, they will stop soon I promise. I wanted to buy a new drip tip for my LT, I am using the DCT 3.5ml tank, I presume it's not a 510? If not is it a 306? Thanks

global, you can buy pure glycerine from a chemists to cut your e-liquid, but it wll also cut the flavour, so Blakey's solution is the best. however, the "tight head" may be due to dehydration - you need to drink a lot more fluid, especially when you start vaping. You may well be right, I am also drinking shed loads of fresh strong tea and fresh coffee at the moment because I am working from home so I don't think all that high caffeine and nictoine is going to land me in a happy place. Bought a load of fizzy water today and it's been better, but still have some much lower nictotine stuff on it's way so will have a play. Thank you, I just worry when starting something new that I'm creating another more serious problem by stopping another

Right, Tank now working thanks to Kev (excellent service, next day replacement!!!!).
the tank, compared to the Cartomiser is so much better, it just feels like a continous hit and is really satisfying, now I have the tank on and I am very much happier with this I have concluded this is definately an "at home" gadget. I'm off to buy a Riva for in the car/pub.
Reason: Whilst I know what it is I am going to look a bit odd in my sleepy village vaping this when out and about, the uneducated cretins will preume I'm up to no good, whilst I normally don't give a flying monkey what people think, in this instance I am going to bow to the uneducated and use this at home only.
But it is the Rolls Royce of experiences, I am really enjoying it, just ordered some more "waffle" eliquid in low and medium Nic strength so I can have a play with strengths, the high (16mg) is too high for me so I will try low and work from there. My aim eventually will be on zero nicotine at some point in the future.

Hello, another newbie question which I think may be quite simple answer, quite simply, the e-liquids I ordered are too high in nicotine for me, I thought that 16mg was about right but I had a rather tight head last night and figured it was probably the nicotine content. So, I could just order lower ones (which I will) but is there a way of not losing flavour but reducing the nictotine content of the ones I have bought? Thanks

If you can (not sure with that Alienware) do what I did, I have a Dell Lattitude E6500 as my main Laptop and have the main drive as an SSD 128GB and then I got off ebay a CD caddy to fit my machine and put a 2.5" 500GB Hybrid drive in there for storage. The CD Player I rarely used so it's loss is minimal anyway. Result: The hybrid part of the Seagate drive is 8GB SSD, it uses this area to store files that are regularily used so access even from this "normal" drive is super quick. Didn't cost a load either. Oh, and to answer the point of the original question on this thread, my SSD is OS only and my machine boots up super quick and is much quicker than with a regular drive, it's as simple as that

so glad to hear you are happy with your lava tube global & enjoying trying different juices. Very happy, and I forgot to say on another thread you commented I hope the op on your right wrist isn't too bad and wish you a speedy recovery. At least you can vape whilst you are on the mend

Incidentally, the LT looks a bit like a stun baton, bit worried about being arrested walking round with what looks like a dangerous weapon I thought exactly the same thing (well I actually said it looked more like a bong) but would have almost the same reaction if Mr Policeman clocked me sitting in my car smoking it.... Still deciding whether to get a Riva for going out to stop such things or to just grin and bear it and accept my payout for police brutality Have fun with your LT, it appears I am 24 hours ahead of you on this Lava journey, got mine yesterday, I am quite lucky I had a load of empty SkyCig Cartomisers to fill up with the new juice that rrived today so have had a pleasurable afternoon testing them in different carts. The LT appears to be a fantastic weapon of choice for this new hobby
