A RIDE IN THE TAXI
A woman and her twelve-year-old son were riding in a taxi in Detroit. It was raining and all the prostitutes were standing under awnings.
"Mom," said the boy, "what are all those women doing?"
"They're waiting for their husbands to get off work," she replied.
The taxi driver turns around and says, "Geez lady, why don't you tell him the Truth? They're hookers, boy!
They have sex with men for money."
The little boy's eyes get wide and he says, "Is that true Mom?"
His mother, glaring hard at the driver, answers in the affirmative.
After a few minutes, the kid asks, "Mom, if those women have babies, what happens to them?"
"Most of them become taxi drivers!!!" she said.

Survived my first month as a cabbie  So far I have had weird. A guy on a garden gnome hunt and stopping at shops within view of each other One you wished you could have done for free An ambulance emt that fell asleep on the train and missed his stop. Cracking guy to take home, full of stories and deserved so much respect Screaming brats Daytime drunks Two guys that started drinking at a funeral and were still going for it the next day. There was also mention of divorce once they got home Plenty of elderly Great for stories. One ex raf vet was saying how they never told him what he was sleeping under. Turned out to be the UK's first atomic bomb Through to your normal doctors and supermarket runs Its been a fun month, but the 6 day 60hr weeks are starting to catch up with me And my day off, wash and hoover the cab, plus cash up and invoices And it gives good reason to get out the house Popped home to get more change after I ran short one day. My 80yr old father had decided to change the door handles on all the doors. Then not checked his workmanship. My 80yr old mother was stuck in the bathroom. I'm so glad I was a quick in and out of the house |

I had a drop down at the Queensgate shopping centre, and the roads rounds Peterborough were nice and quiet Even the tractor drivers seemed absent on the A16 today Result! Which pub did you go in? No pubs, Im cabbie from a town once known for its Tulip festival and now they only worship pumpkins in a festival I managed to get lost on most trips down your way  |
