I'm a Legal officer for a Recruitment Agency but only for the next 2 months then I'm unemployed as being made redundant after 28yrs service.

What do I do? Whatever SHE says! I'm gainfully unemployed. By that I mean too young to be retired but not working for wages and not looking for paid work. *Use to be a Database programmer until they offered me a big cheque to not come back. *shrug* So sad ...  |

I'm a pupil escort for my local authority, this means I go in a taxi/hackney/minibus with special needs pupils to and from school and collecting from home. I'm NOT an 'escort' as my son informed his new teacher, aged seven, when he was asked to stand up and introduce himself to everyone in his class.....  It also didnt help that it was an independant convent school and I still worry about what the nuns thought I did to pay the school fees!! |

I'm an AMHP. Fancy name for what used to be called Approved Social Worker or ASW, but now Approved Mental Health Professional, AMHP. Basically I'm the one who goes around detaining people in hospital if they are mentally ill.

I've dealt with the general public in a retailing capacity for 43 years . . . . . for my sins, working on a Customer Service Desk of a well known supermarket chain, is my wind down to retirement employment.  The source of much amusement to many, considering my surname!  |
