18mg nic should make for a nice blast to the moon (so not really) as stated previously 6mg if you're used to quite high nic content, I only use 3mg and I'll be cutting it out altogether when my current batch runs out, they may also be a tad on the thin side if they are something like 50/50, I only use 70/30 or 80/20 in my sub ohm tanks. I run 50/50 in my sub tanks no problem but yes you will need to drop the nic down to 6mg at least. Ah ok, some of the youtube vids I've watched and reviews I have seen mention that it's a possibility especially when running 1.2 and 0.5 in the kanger, so thought I'd mention it, never had the problem myself other than leaks due to user error, but I've always used 70/30 and the rebuildable deck.

Welcome from another newbie, I was in the same position about 5 months ago and opted for the Kanger subox mini, slightly pricer than some of the other options mentioned but it's a good quality bit of kit and comes with 3 different heads one of which is rebuildable, you also get a couple of coils, some cotton and a screw driver, you can either buy some ready made coils or some wire and make your own coils, you also don't need a separate charger as you can charge the battery in the mod, you can also still vape while it's charging, so you will save money in the long run as it's a very versatile piece of kit.
Three different sized air holes mean you can do the harder pull mouth to lung inhale you are used to on the smallest hole and gradually get used to the full lung inhale by using the other 2 in stages as and when you feel ready.
If you want to go really cheap, I also have an Eleaf ijust 2 which is still a decent flavoursome vape but just not particularly versatile, it just does what it says on the tin.
HTH.

Hello mate, thanks for the heads up, and yes you were right, nothing like the other place, thankfully. No mate none of this mine is bigger than yours on here, we all try to help each other if we can on here. As said check out the recipe section as i know your keen on doing your own mixing some very very nice tasting juices in there. Also some very knowledgable people on here who can help with Q's. enjoy your stay with us and please ask any Q you want we will answer if we can. Yes I like to at least have some idea of what it is i'm smoking, also it's a case of having to at the rate I seem to get through juice, 20 quid on 60ml in the last week/ 10 days, the other day I spent 40 quid on flavours and 300ml of PG and with VG @ 3 quid a litre from the local chemists it's enough to last me about 6 months so it's a no brainer, between that and making my own coils it's a significant saving and I don't feel like I'm being mugged every week. Thanks for the warm welcome from the rest of you.

Wow, 2 pages on my first post thanks for the very warm welcome, liking the smilies on here too. Chykensa, good to know that you think it's a good combo, i'd not heard of the griffin before but the chap in the shop assured me it was the way to go and I liked the full velocity deck, I was seriously tempted by the usual suspects, Ulwell crown, Crius V3 and the Smok Tfv4 but as my aspirations lie with making my own consumables I went for the purpose built option, no doubt I shall be adding the others to my collection at some point in the future. Currently puffing away on my bellus atop my Ijust 2 with some shop bought Cloud freaks minted custard and my own coils which is my evening vape, very nice it is too, also have a 50w Kanger subox with cloud freaks cheery tunes for during the day, it's only been 6 months and i'm hooked.

Hi, another new convert here, been on the e-cigs for 6 months now. I'm one of those strange people that could stop smoking normal cigs but actually enjoy smoking, so now that it's been proven to be safer to smoke e-cigs I thought it was about time I made the change, really pleased I did too although I think i'm addicted, more so to the mixing juices and making my own coils than the smoking part. Just bought myself a new Kooper 200w mod and a Griffin rebuildable tank to get into claptons and TC so lots of reading to do over the next few days and no doubt lots of questions as I've no idea what i'm doing.
