Thanks, are they easy to rebuild? I don't know....mine hasn't arrived yet > Once you've worked out how to wrap a wire round a wick, I'd imagine it's straightforward, but a lot of folk use SS mesh, which will be a bit of a learning curve for me.

I went for the IGO-L as it seemed to be one of the easier ones to rebuild. Have just done my first wick and coil and it actually works! Worked almost too well, had a bit of a coughing fit after the first drag Dropped the watts a bit and all is good now. It is a bit fiddly, but tbh if I can do it, anyone can. Edited to add - only good if you're after a dripping atty ofc

easiest way i found at first to wick a ss coil was to take it out coil from top down, put wick back in then, screw bottom tail down first, give it a little twist to keep it taut then do same with top coil, after that coiling came a minute job lol if you get a agat or a genny clone ,you may have to clear the air hole, a few have done it ,we think its a bit of swarf left after polishing ,just put a tip of one blade from nail scissors in hole and gently twist it only do it if you think its a struggle to vape, also with a Aga T you will need a 510 drip tip

Right. Thanks. Seems a bit clearer. Few more questions.
What type of battery would I need? I only have a standard 1100mah ego-t right now.
The mesh oxidising seems a bit faffy. Is it literally just holding it on a flame for a bit? Is a lighter okay?
I know I need a multi metre, but what exactly do I do with that? That probably sounds daft. Obviously I test the wick, but how?

An Aga T is going to be massively unbalanced on an Ego battery Jerri . . . you do need a mod of some description for it to go on for sure.
A Vamo would be your best reasonably priced bet, as you can also check your resistance/ohms, which would do away with the need for a multi meter.
This is how a multi meter works for our purposes though . . .
I don't want to put a wet blanket on your rebuildable enthusiasm, but maybe cut your coiling teeth on one of the inexpensive drippers there are about?
