Been busy this evening, lastest dna40 build

This what has kept me quiet most of the evening.
3d printed Shapeways dna40 gripper.
Evolv main and charging boards.
22mm copper sprung loaded 510.
Pictured next to a Vaporshark dna40.  Although a bit bigger its half the weight.
Has a nice textured grippy feel and the silver buttons have metalic flake printed into them.

The box is €52 but the mounts and buttons are extra.

Cheers. Shapeways dont do a smaller box but there might be someone out there who could design one for you and have it uploaded to them.

Very nice, don't fancy slapping a proper Evolv board in my Hana clone by any chance do you?
I think the board in it is knackered, hasn't died but i noticed a distinct smell like burning when i took the back off the box, don't want to risk using it any more.

Aside from that any idea what materials those boxes are printed with?
I'm not up on the 3D printing stuff but a past hobby of mine years ago was collecting and making replica movie props so i have some experience with making molds and resin casting the old fashioned way.
If i ever get the hankering to build a mod i'm wondering if that might be a suitable method to make my own personal box.

Yes i can do that for you so long as they have not covered it in that bloody hot glue.
I dont know what the 3d plastic is called, all i know is that it comes on a reel and is melted then sprayed in fine layers.

For the last week the next job on my get mod started list has been to pick my pillar drill up, @windows has done two DN40 mods and I'm still yet to pick it up...haha.
