Yes that's the setup I use You can prefill the tanks with different flavours, just rinse the atomiser between if you're fussy. I'd also recomment a pack of wicks www.safercigs.co.uk/IMIST_wicks_pack_of_4/p705283_5922587.aspx as I found after 3 - 4 weeks of use mine got burnt a bit on the end. You should then be good for a couple of moths usage at least. It's a great set up for swapping flavours. You will also need a 510 to Ego adapter if you're going to use it with a Lavatube.

A quick tip,
To re-fill remove the tank POP out the little white rubber seal grommet on the take using your nails and keep safe. You now have a nice big hole to drip the liquid in without the need for a syringe/spikey thing. Refill, pop back in the grommet and refit your tank. Takes seconds!

What are the new users of these thinking of them? I have been waiting to try them for ages, can't order just yet as I am not around for the delivery so need to wait a few days. Is the flavour as good as the Stardust?

OK, I'm not a new user but as you'll see in my review the flavour is very good, as good as the Stardust. I have JUST received my pack of new wicks from Daz (super service only cost £2) and have just re-filled the tank on the Imist and am doing a side by side comparison on 2 Riva VV batteries at 3.7V :
IMIST:
A more "airey draw" Slightly cooler vapor Flavour good 9/10 Vapor good 9/10
STARDUST
Definately a tighter draw A warmer vapour Flavour 9/10 Vapor good 9/10 Does not look so "mechanical"
Differences : Imist is alot heavier, it is cast metal but that makes it VERY robust. Stardust holds more liquid 1.6 ml against 1.2 for the Imist Imist looks lovely on the Stainless Steel battery Very easy to see how much liduid left in the stardust though you can in the Imist as well. Stardust is easier to fill.
As to the longevity, the Imist is 2 months old now and is still very good, I suspect it will have a longer life, the ability to thoroughly clean the Imist is very good, so easy to take apart. You can even de-carbonise the coil by scraping it gently then rinse and go. Taking the Stardust apart and fitting a new coil whilst possibe will be much harder.
So all in all my personal view is the Imist is JUST SLIGHTLY better, but only becaue it's so easy to maintain and I am VERY HAPPY with both. I'll post a pic in the next post of them side by side.

Thank you Des, I was actually going to ask you the same questions as I know you have been a fan of the IMIST and recently liking the stardust too. Think I will give one a go, they look sleek

Wondering, do you have to buy the 5 tank pack if you are purchasing the atomizer? of course in the long run it makes sense but as I am just thinking of trying does the atomizer come with a tank attached?

the Imist comes with one tank. Both great devices, the only other thing I would mention is that the Imist is lower resistance (though haven't tried the LR stardust yet) so has a bit more oomph.

Nice Review, Thanks Des.. I've been wondering what the difference is, the Imist sure looks nice too, I love both finishes on it..
Just out of curiosity.. would an imist Atomiser thingy fit onto a riva battery?
