Hi all... So as most of you know I'm going for a Riva 510 and some juices from james when I'm not so 'always broke'!!! In the meantime was pondering the practicality of it and was wondering about filling carts... could I for instance, fill a couple of carts up and take them to work with me to save me having to faff about with them while I'm at work....or would they dry out or something?? Sorry for yet another daft question but I tend to be rushed off my feet most days and running out for a quick 2 min cig is about all I get time for!

Always, it's not a dumb question at all Yes you can fill carts & use them at a later time. Carts come with a little cap that you can push back on them after refilling. Might be an idea though to store the filled ones in a little plastic bag, just to make sure they don't leak at all

Marvellous!! Thanks Chrissie If the first question wasn't quite daft enough....I have more! I'm taking it that you don't actually 'suck' on the end of the ecig like you would on an analogue but kind of breathe in when holding the button down......if thats right, how would you do the method where you draw it into your mouth, then inhale...surely you run out of breath??! ???

hi always : ) yes pre-filling carts is a good idea if you don't want the hassle of topping up. i would suggest to take small amount of juice in a wee bottle just in case you need it. personally i actually need to faff around a bit (ex rollie smoker!!) beepxxx ps. i look forward to hearing about how you get on with the riva 510 xx

Good advice from Beeper Always, most people find it's best to take sips like using a straw. So difficult to explain until you get your first e-cig & find the best technique that suits you Above all though, I find it's best to draw (sip) on the e-cig & hold the vape in your mouth for a second rather than direct inhale it into your lungs - hope that makes sense Lol, edit due to typing in wrong smiley - you can tell I've just been posting on eBay forums/groups, their smiley codes are so different

I just take longer, lighter (just don't suck quite so hard) pulls than I would on a cigarette...inhaling it straight into your lungs without holding it in your mouth is probably not a good idea...I say this from experience! I think it's a much more relaxing experience than smoking analogues, more akin to smoking a pipe in fact.

always, trust me- you will find the way all by yourself! there's a tw video that states that you don't really need to inhale into your lungs for long- nicotine is absorbed in the mouth.. don't fret as yet! beepxxx

I pretty much vape as I smoked. Full drag > into the lungs> then exhale. Best thing to do with this is have a go & see what works. Don't be put off if at first you have a bit of a coughing fit. Many of my friends who have tried my e-cig don't realise how close the vaping throat it is to smoking throat hit. I've seen many go into a coughing fit & me laughing at them. They always go back for another few drags tho'

Love it as well and I smoked taylor mades, roll ups, even smoked a pipe fpr over 20 years...Condor and Warhorse. Ecigs are definately the way to go. Ken.

My Dad used to smoke St Bruno Flake in his pipe - a 'treat' for me as a child was to stick my nose into his baccy pouch and inhale all the lubberly aroma. No small wonder I loved smoking as an adult

Perpie, My Dad smoked the same thing and I adored the smell of it. What's amazing to me now is that even as quite a young child I could go to the newsagent and buy it for him, as I could with my Mum's Park Drive tips. The only concession to 'P.C ness' was that the shopkeeper would put those items into a small brown paper bag for me!! Lynda

We must be of a similar era Lynda!
I used to love the smell of St B - it fascinated me then, the tobacco flakes . . . . . and indeed I used to regularly cycle to the newsagent's to get Dad his tobacco and Mum her Kensitas (sp?) tips.
Never a question was asked back in those days.
