Hi guys. Just want to let you know. Had a horrendous week. Been threatened by an ebayer. Had police involved.
I'm on mega antidepressants anyway and this has tipped me.
Been too scared to even look at 'puter.
As advised by police I'm going away for weekend.

If the 'juice supplier' reads this, can you please send me your email addy to paypal the money for the 36mg juice.

I had chats with the guys on Q+A (ebay). 99.9% say, and I agree, that its all bluster. As far as he knows I could be a six-foot five ex-SAS with four burly sons. My brain can understand this but it also has stopped me eating since last Sunday. It feels just like being scared of going to school because of bullies.
To involve ebay could make the situation worse. Same as if I got some burly buddies around. If the threat is real it could snowball for the sake of discretion being the better part of valour

Five or six years ago I was fitter and stronger than most people half my age (52) Pancreatitis virtually cut me in half. I couldn't even push a broom. That and turning 50 really concentrated my mind on my own mortality. Hence the depression. I just thought I was a bit 'cheesed' off and things would get back to normal in due course. After breaking down in front of my doctor he diagnosed acute depression. Then the pancreas specialist told me I couldn't work until March NEXT year!!! Happily I never had those black self-harming thoughts. I have nine wonderful grandchildren who are a constant source of joy. Just need to get this idiots threats out of my head!!! Thank you all for your kind words. xxx

Grand-dad - why is someone threatening you? Sounds awful, especially if you are not feeling up to par.

Self harming of course is never the answer; it harms those who love you moreso than yourself. I am pleased to hear that you have a wonderful set of people around you, and that you are thinking of them too. Take care. xx

Really stupid, childish reasons. I asked, before auction, would they combine P+P? They replied admitting they were trying to make profit from P+P but would try and give me a discount As it turned out the P+P was about 5x actual cost. I negged them; they replied I had asked for 'norty pics'. I re-replied 'Liars'.... et al.

Steve, I saw your thread on Q&A about this. I agree with most the posters on there, the seller has done it to scare you & I doubt very much he intends to carry out his threats.. Really hope your weekend away helps you

Grumpy - Sounds a total nightmare! How have they gone from a P and P argument to accusing you of something totally unrelated - 'norty pics'? Sounds like someone very unhinged. Hope the police can see through the facts of the case and give you some peace of mind.

For one thing, I don't think the idiots know that you CAN'T delete ebay msgs that you SEND. They will all still be on record. This will absolve me but condemn them. The police have told me to close down ebay account but ebay, in their ultimate wisdom, need 180 days. The police also advised me to go away for weekend but they have all the details and will use an ANPR camera to cross-check this guys vehicle

Well suggest you follow that advice and leave it to them. Go and enjoy your weekend. Ebay is so anonymous that we are inevitably 'shopping' with totally unknown people. It just sounds as if you have been unlucky transacting with a nutter! Take care. Go and enjoy some sunshine - while we still have some. Winter isn't too far away.

Well, if nothing else, i'd report them for fee avoidance, ebay would certainly be interested in that...of course, it'd be understandable if you just want to lie low...

tell me their id and i'll report the buggers, but alas, they'd probably just come back again....i reported a seller years ago for shill bidding, she was naru'd, then a few weeks later was selling happily again, even tho she was clearly bidding on her own items
