Hope no one minds me starting this thread in here. I just wondered, seeing how many of us found this lovely place following a thread on one of their boards so obviously use Ebay, feel about them? Whilst I'll be the first to admit I don't like change, too set in my comfy ways :-[ I wonder if the changes will be for the better or worse? I don't know if I can be bothered to flit between Seller Central & Buyer Central, I'll probably come on here and ask my Ebay related questions, seems alot smpler.

You were magnificent i thought Lettie despite the sceptics. > It's ever so sad, even if the threads weren't that long lasting it did give many peeps a chance to find their way here.

Lol Perpy! I have a little purple book that I have kept posters IDs in, especially the code 42's - I know that soinds suspect of me, but I started it when I first started posting 3 years ago so I could keep up and remember IDs, and it sort of just grew and grew, and grew...... Some very interesting reading in my little purple book.....

Perpy, I don't mind at all about you starting this thread here - far from it. Feeling sad myself as Q&A was the first board I used to post on regularly 8 years ago Apologise for not being round much the last few days, but not been feeling too good. Have just posted on that thread though. RIP Q&A.

(((((Chrissie)))) I do hope you are feeling better. xx I'll miss the Quarrel & Argue board as well.....but I don't mind change if it's for the better. Who knows what the new Seller Central and Buyer Central will be like - I think I will be doing more lurking than posting to start with as I am also one of life's cowards

Lettie, I think a lot of the changes are good - but not getting rid of Q&A. The split between the new buyer/seller central main boards IMHO will just cause confusion for newbies & break up the community - but that's just what eBay wants - to break up the community & diffuse the fact that so many people no longer believe in the eBay dream/original ethics.

((( Chris ))) Crikey Lettie, your lickle purple book must be worth a fortune on the black market. I don't mind change per se (?) it's the technicals of it that get me flummoxed. After the ' Great Shmozzle ' I had a while back, I've kept a low profile. People forget there are two sides to every story and I felt very exposed to the BP's after it.

I think there's a huge amount of truth in that Chris. Unpleasant behaviour happens on the PS board and is tolerated too a far greater degree. The cynic in me thinks this is for a reason.

Perpy, I'm also a cynic. Richard the pink didn't label me & several others "grassy Knowlers" for nothing

Perpy & Chrissie.
I never thought of it like that to be honest - I mean the reasons behind getting rid of Q&A.
But I do really respect your reasons for thinking the way you do.....and you are both more experienced on that board than I would ever have been. And the more I think about your theory, and I have thought about it, you are probably very right.
Mind you, I have had more 'slaps' in the past 3 days for my rather blunt postings, than I have ever had in 3 years!
