newbie help please

HI all i'm new to the forum but i have read a lot of the threads and i'm ready to buy!

I was originally going to buy this one www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/mini/electronic-cigarette-starter-kit-mini-e-2-product.html but someone on the US forum (that i joined by mistake :-[) recommended the 510?? where is the best place to buy it from?

what else will i need to buy? There's an overwhelming amount of stuff out there help!

I currently smoke aound 15 roll ups a day and use drum tobacco so what jusice would you recommend?

That mini 901 kit you are thinking of going for is a good starter kit & at a very good price. After 2 years of vaping, I still prefer the atomisers for the 901's to the 510's.

However, many prefer the 510's. Totally Wicked do have them & they call them the Titan range, but they aren't the cheapest. Don't go for the compact kit in the following link as it only comes with 1 battery : -

Chrissie your a star thank you very much. I have been to James's site and have picked some eliquids: drum, L&M Benson, chocolate and cinnamon all in 2mls size are these ok to start with?

Yes James' juices are brilliant . He has only just got back from the states last night so he might not be able to get the order out to you as quickly as he usually does.

Right, I've had a good look around & can't find any good offers on the 510. Cloud9's is slightly cheaper but not by much :

thank you again i think i prefer the look of the 510 as opposed to the riva. Forgot to ask would the high strength (20-26mg) be strong enough do you think?

hmm cant make my mind up between the 510 and the 901 now decisions decisions

I think as you were only smoking 15 rollies a day that the 20-26mg will be more than high enough for you.

Lol, I can't really help you choose as I am biased towards the 901

The 510 atomisers burn slightly hotter than the 901's so produce a little bit more vapour. However, you get more flavour with the 901's & I prefer the draw on them.

If you decide to go with a 510 Totally wicked kit, you can use the discount 7.5% code T4BE699. I don't think they allow the use of discount codes on their sale items though.

I think the kit you have chosen looks fine. I started with a 901 kit and it was perfect to get me off the cigs and into vaping.

The only thing I would add is another 901 atomiser as if/when the one that comes with the kit fails you are going to be stuck.

Right im going for the 901 have no idea why but there you go lol. Ive also ordered another atty and battery the cost works out the same for the 510 or 901 now i have the extras. Thank you for the discount code but i think you're right it doesnt work on sale stuff.

Scylla, to start with jezz won't need any carts or stuffing for a while. The 5 carts she gets with the kit will keep her going for some time.

Jezz, the extra battery also isn't essential to begin with as that kit already comes with 2. But as they are on offer ......

I think that looks absolutely fine. You'll have 5 carts (6 possibly if there is one on the extra atty) and if you need any filling it can be ordered very cheaply from James.

If you wanted to save a bit of money, you could knock the battery off the order as you can probably get by with two for a while, although having three will get you through best part of the day without needing to recharge.

With any luck you will be vaping by the weekend!

thanks guys, i have ordered, just need to place my order with James.

I hope it does come by the weekend. My partner, Steve, had a stroke last sunday hes only 39 so the stopping smoking has to be done now! He will make a full recovery but it was a massive shock as it came out of the blue. He smokes and drinks both of which he has now given up. I dont drink but do smoke and this has been a BIG wakeup call!
