Thanks for the links. I may resort to buying new, but thought it may be a chance for someone to get rid of something siting around gathering dust
And blimey, the first one is expensive!

Well, I had a 4 hour training session on how to covertly capture information on how a certain energy drink was merchandised in store. Next week I am going for a full days training about a sat nav system that is being launched in Halfords and I have to roll out the training to the staff. Obviously the energy drink co and sat nav co are paying for the training, plus all expenses, to ensure we know what we are doing and the job is done properly. Maybe others on the team got a bit more info than me as they knew I was a vaper when I applied ??? This is the front and back of the leaflet, side by side

This is very true Chrissie. When the contract came up there was no requirement for any product knowledge and no training other than the stock lines that are repeated on the leaflets Considering I get half day training sessions or hour long conference calls on most product launches, I think this is potentially a false economy for the client. Because I am so enthusiastic about the joys of vaping, some of my visits take ages. One store, where the staff member was really interested, sold half a box in their first day because she was encouraging the customers to give them a go. Other stores I have had to stand and stamp my feet to get them out of the stock room and on display! One member of staff was asking whether she should get one for her fiance, but then concluded she would still make him go up the garden to use it! I won't be buying a hat for that wedding! I'm visiting every two weeks until mid September, then monthly for a further 9 months, so I will be able to give a fairly good overview on whether they fly or fail over the next year.

Just to give you a bit more information about these..... I am part of the team merchandising the 10 Motives disposables. I am working for an agency and have no affiliation to the company, so you can say what you like about them - I just go round making sure they are being displayed properly, on the tobacco counter. Some stores don't have room for this, so they have been put on the gantry, but won't get noticed there They are being rolled out to ALL main stores and Metro stores between June and September. This is being done area by area, and more stores are getting them in. I'm doing mid and North Kent and SE London and around half my stores have them in stock. I've not tried one - only way to get my mitts on one is by buying it myself - you'd have thought they would have given us a demo one at least, but no! Tescos are getting a tidy mark on them so it is in their interest to encourage the sales. There is another brand being sold at the pharmacy counter in a few Tescos, but not many at the moment. Every store I go into, I tell the staff at the kiosk to tell customers to look at them online as well.

Have you ever been to the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill?
There is a stuffed walrus that was mounted in around 1870. It came from Canada and the taxidermists had never seen a walrus before so didn't know it was supposed to have folds of skin. They stuffed it tightly so it's about twice it's natural size - it looks as though it has been blown up with a bicycle pump

I've just found this thread and want to let you know that I have updated the other thread, re how well it's going so far.
Dee, if you are interested I can put you in touch with the contact at the agency I am doing this through, although I get the impression all regions are covered for now. You can have my South London one though - blerdy traffic!

They have arrived and popped the first one on charge to test - it seems fine.
Just weighed one in it's packaging and it is around 450g, so with second class recorded delivery, these will be £7.50 each.
Anyone interested?

Thanks for the link - that is the exact one. Also here on Amazon. www.amazon.co.uk/Kensington-Rechargeable-Portable-Battery-Pack/dp/B000VG8GEA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1302035863&sr=8-1I bought a couple from PC World last year and use them to recharge my Tornado batteries when on the move or camping etc. I also use them for my GD passthrough, although there is some discussion as to whether they are man enough to fulfil the 5v. I looked to get some spares as I can't find either of mine as I have put mine somewhere safe, but the price was ridiculous and they were rarer than hens teeth. Thinking that was still the case, I bought a deal from ebay for 6, brand new in their packets. I am not looking to make a profit on them, but need to cover paypal and postage costs as I don't want to be out of pocket either. PS Handy hint and tip - do not hold your passthrough in your hand when trying to park as the RAC laugh at you when they have to come and remove your steering wheel to release the stuck passthrough lead.

Would anyone be interested in one of these? I have bought a batch and still waiting for them to arrive, so I need to check they are in working order, but I won't need all of them when they get here!
They will be less than a tenner, including postage

I flew to Andorra for New Year and didn't have a problem. I had the basics with me and spares in my hold luggage and no-one batted an eyelid. I'm flying again on Friday and hoping that is just as plain sailing. I would suggest you take a self addressed and stamped envelope with you, just in case they decide you can't take your gear on the flight, then you can just post it off to yourself - they will allow that. With regard to vaping on the flight, blowing out the vapour over a steaming cup of coffee always works for me
