Oh and to clarify, that'll be alright with a Riva 1100? I read you shouldn't go below 2 ohms with them.

I was warned about the ninja's but actually you should all be wearing masks We can combine the two if you'd like Firin.

Blimey, I don't need ninjas, I'm 2 weeks in and I've done 4 orders from Vape Escape and a now one from PixieJuice! Think I'm going to need a mask at this rate!

Not sure if anyone saw this, it's true you shouldn't use anything lower than 2ohms on a riva, did you mean you've bought some Bauway 306 atomisers? I'm not sure they're a good idea on your riva, they will work but you run the risk of knackering your battery. I only use that stuff on my ego twist at low voltage 3.4

I think if I read right you should not use it in an ego that's below 350mah,the 1100 should be fine with LR

Hopefully someone experienced can clarify as I want to know if I'm doing the right thing

Taken from VE website Riva 1100 batteries: "You can use any standard resistance 510 atomiser or cartomiser with this battery (order a cone to complete the look).
We do not recommend the use of atomisers with a resistance lower than 2ohms on Riva Batteries"

I only use that stuff on my ego twist at low voltage 3.4 Hmm, I've been using 306s on my Twist at 4.0 to 4.2. I was under the impression this was OK, but if anyone can tell me I shouldn't be doing this, it'd be much appreciated.

It is specifically Rivas, which have thinner wires inside which can be damaged by excess heat, that should not have anything less than 2ohms on them

Because of that I figured I should also keep the Bauways at low voltage?

If you have another look at that you'll see that a 1.5 ohm resistance at 3.4 volts produces 7.7 watts. You can go higher, but you risk burning your juice the higher the wattage goes. I find my 306 gets quite hot at 3.4

I got a 306 (tested to 1.6Ω) yesterday and have been using it on the Riva. Should I to stop using it? I got it from VapeEscape www.vapeescape.co.uk/bauway-306-lr-atomiser~217the details state ' Bauway 306 Low Resistance Atomisers, for use on 510 fitting batteries such as the Ego & Riva.'

Ant there is a lot of confusion around this. Also on the vape escape site referring to 1.5 ohn dcc cartos they say "We do not recommend the use of these cartomisers in any battery with a capacity of less than 650mah. They are not suitable for use on either Riva or Echo 1300 batteries." Maccafan, who is very clued up about all things battery related, has pointed out that Rivas are made with thinner wires inside which can become damaged by the extra heat generated by anything under 2 ohms
