Thanks for the explanations everybody! I thought it might be the number of posts you've made, but wondered anyway. I'll watch for it changing and then I'll feel good. Only teasing as I feel good now with what I've achieved so far. Still got two cigs left from the ones the other night. My OH went to Tescos last night to get cigs, and brought me a sleeve, which I have not opened. So one sleeve from last Friday week, and there are 2 cigs left. Normally I would be on a 3rd sleeve by now!
I love Westies! We used to have one years ago, unfortunately we had to have her put to sleep at 6 months old, as she had no immune system and was really ill. (Bought one that was interbred, but didn't know at the time, but that is another story.) She was so sweet, I loved her to bits. Now we have two cats, so feeling Chrissies pain.

Lots of lovely animal lovers in here. Don't think I have ever been to St Austell - but train has stopped at the station! The Westies are both rescues - the oldest just turned 16 in May and is getting very frail. We don't think she will be with us much longer. But while she still has quality of life and no pain, then she is still holding on. The other is 12 - and still acts like a 12- month-old. My other two are rescues - one a Heinz 57 semi-disabled, and the other a lummox boxer boy! Love cats too, but the dogs do not. Has anyone heard from Chrissie? I do hope she is okay. ((((Chrissie)))))

I haven't heard from Chrissie today. I keep composing emails and then deleting them because I don't want to risk interrupting her grieving, or saying the wrong thing.
St Austell is not a pretty town but it's a good centre for visitors to branch out from. We were within walking distance of several beaches as kids.

Evening all. I live near St Austell (Place) Tis a road near me LOL. Im a smoker who's on Champix. Its slowly working. When I started on it a few weeks ago I was on 20~25 a day so I thought it was time to give up. Its a 12 week course Im on and Im only smoking 6~9 a day. Before anyone says I should stop my dr has told me to carry on till Im ready. I know alot of people say you have to make a date but it dont work that way for me. Im to obstroperous. I dont do what people expect me to do. I do things the way I want and no one can change me

Tinytim - that's just it isn't it - finding your own way in your own time. Pressure frm others just doesn't help. Well done for getting down to 6-9 a day. I tried Zyban some years ago - didn't help me at all; I still had terrible cravings. Thus am so thrilled to have found vaping - no cravings at all. Good luck to you, and hope you keep going.

Thanx hanow and it oesnt help when I puke every so often cos I havent eaten enough food. I only found that I wasnt eating enough a couple of days ago so sorted that out. Ive heard zyban has been stopped cos people with dicky hearts were affected by them. Ive tiresd vping but I couldnt cope with it. It made me ill. Im a dead loss with things that are suppossed to help. Things are twice as worse for me.

Tinytim - so, so sorry to hear that. Why are you not eating enough food? Not good. I don't have a huge appetite (probably supressed by the smoking of course) but I hope I haven't missed something on the threads that explains your lack of eating. Hope you get that sorted soon hun. Chrissie - asked the question as to where you are before reading this - you being in St Blazey. That means - very bizarrely - that from the posters in here, at least four of us are neighbours? Is there something in the water here do you suppose?

Yes, I'm in St. Blazey Lol, I'm trying to work out who our other neighbours are? Beachboy (not posted for some time) is over in Paignton Devon, but I can't think who else is in Cornwall.

Someone posted that they were in St Austell, and somewhere I recall someone from Looe (or has this vaping caused my imagination to run riot?

Hanow, Scylla was originally from St. Austell but now living in London. I'm a tad brain dead at the moment so can't remember who may have posted from Looe - apart from me - or was that the loo loves Looe & Polperro

Looe and polperro are my fav places in Cornwall although it takes us about 9 hours to drive down we havent made the journey for a few years now infact last time we were in Cornwall was when the floods happened in 2004, we were staying in Bude and had just visited Boscastle the day before, was really scarey watching all the rescue helicopters flying over our caravan site, i am trying to talk my Hubby into coming down this summer:) Jules

That was very scary Jules & so sad to see some beautiful very old buildings completely destroyed Thank god though that there was so few human casualties. If you do decide to come to Cornwall, come & say hello as it would be lovely to meet you
