Stick a square flat section on the bottom cap, that would do the job.

Chris Get a nice funky looking block of wood, drill a biggish hole in it, drown it in varnish and let it dry. And theres your desk stand  Or get a long block of wood and drill a few holes in it and then you'll have one for all you vapery sticks |

Sit a toilet roll on your desk, and put the LT in it. You'll have the added benefit of tissue when it's required. |
