Hi folks, just wanted some feedback on me feeling like I'm falling to pieces! I know that the nic can give ppl headaches - and I've had some stonkers lately! but my spine and ribs are riddled with pain, espec first thing! It could be a number of things I know, but am seriously wondering if I'm sensitive to glycerine? It may be nicotine poisoning or could be allergic to PG, does anyone else get all these aches and pains, it's really getting to me. I enjoy vaping so much and can't go back to the evil cigs! I may have to reduce my strength from 18/24 mg or vape less or try a substitutebase, I really am at my wits end! My spine is sore my back is crippled with pain and I have massive neck tension and severe headaches, I only just read this could be all the nicotine I take in or even a PG allergy, pls help as I really can't bear the thought of not vaping! Cheers, any suggestions considered! Jules

PG gets converted to lactic acid which can contribute towards aches and pains. Try some VG or high VG juice and please see your Dr as well, it may not be related

If it was nicotine poisoning you would know.
For one thing you would be feeling incredibly sick/dizzy.
The headache also wouldn't go away unless you stopped vaping (neither would the sickness) but both the headache and sickness would go away as quickly as they arrived.

i had this when i went onto a high pg liquid and found i was making too much lactic acid and my muscles did not like it and were constantly cramping since then i have gone back to 50/50 pg/vg and i drink more to flush out my system and now the cramps are few and far between but it takes a week or 2 to get back to normal

You will be shocked at how many symptoms smoking masks from view :-o but, vaping is still the healthier choice :-)
Do see your doctor and try some higher vg juice,
best of luck :-)

O my.
I didn't know about the lactic acid thing.
My trap muscles are so bad lately.
Maybe I'll try just vaping Boba and Gorilla juice for a day or two and see if it helps.
Hope your probs get sorted vapinglikecrazy.....i second and third the water thing. flush flush flush

Hi guys thanks for replying, I do and have always guzzled water as if it's going out of fashion, my hubby quite often comments I'm going to drown, so no probs there, I down about 2 litres before bed too as I am prone to migraines and as I get older the alcohol doesn't sit as nicely as it used to <,sigh>> Seen doc as this has been going on for weeks and am getting to see an expert to look at my back just in case, also had a bone density check recently! I think I will try about 12 mg for a while next time I get supplies, trouble is I've got loads of 24mg to get through first, maybe I'll dilute it with no nic? Am also going to use my VG for a while and see if it's that! Not too keen on it, but worth a try! I know the slight nicotene poisoning symptoms, if I've been vaping away heavily while on line sometimes I get a bit nauseous and a bit dizzy, sort of like I'm stoned a bit and last night had blurred vision, but I am very tired lately too so guess I must lay off 'vaping like crazy' as my name says, keep em coming folks as I really don't want to kill myself after giving up the fags! Hi vapinglikecrazy. 24mg is quite high I think, if I were you I would reduce all your 24mg to 12mg using VG and see if that helps.

I know the slight nicotene poisoning symptoms, if I've been vaping away heavily while on line sometimes I get a bit nauseous and a bit dizzy, sort of like I'm stoned a bit and last night had blurred vision Unless you suddenly up your juice nic content or start drinking your juice then the above is all that will happen (sometimes/usually accompanied with a headache)... There is no build up of nicotine or anything, once it is in your system it is gone again pretty quickly (or at least the levels in your system drop quickly)...

Jules sorry to hear about your aches and pains. If you do dilute your juice it's better to dilute it with a lower nic version of the same juice, otherwise you will dilute the flavour too.

Quitting smoking, with all its nasties, can cause aches and pains, try to stay hydrated and if symptoms persist go see your GP

I'm pleased to hear that you've seen the Doc re your sore back. Did you mention the headaches? If not please go back and do so. I don't think anyone on this forum is qualified to give healthcare advice!

You down 2 litres of water before going to bed? Holy moly, you must be back and for to the loo all night.
Your headaches and backaches - have you considered the possibility that you just have very very tight knotted muscles? I mean the trapezius....it runs all the way from the skull to the lower back, and lots of people with trapezius problems also get headaches....my sister used to. A neck and shoulder massage would sort the tension and the headache...at least temporarily.
I could very well be wrong, but perhaps you could try a sports massage just to rule it out...a massage and VG only and medium nicotine...
